No I won't because it's a Kangaroo Court decision ...

It's a perfectly legal court decision.

What you're proposing is a Kangaroo Court decision.

ot at all, in fact it is the exact opposite Gregg.

A Jury of his peers found Gerard Baden-Clay guilty of Murder and that should have been the end of it.

But no...the lawyers got involved and started muddying the waters of what was a clear case of Murder.

Then it went to the Appeals Court where the 3 Judges couldn't work out what went on, funny because it was clear enough to the Jury.

Then they started 'hypothesising and finally settled for finding him guilty of Manslaughter which means that they agreed that he killed her.

They just couldn't work out how, so they 'hypothesised' that he accidentally killed her, although they wouldn't have the first clue how...and they gave him Manslaughter.

Now that's what I call a 'lame duck' decision by three Judges who ran out of ideas.

Not good enough.

The Jury got it right.

Yes.

You're refusing to accept the decision of our courts.

Instead, you want a Kangaroo Court outcome.

It's a disgrace that citizens like you have no respect for Australian law.

"Kangaroo Court: is a judicial tribunal or assembly that blatantly disregards recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing in the territory within which it resides."

i.e you, cods, and the other misinformed citizens who want to dispense your own form of "justice".

Absolutely disgraceful.

we did accept the decision of our courts...

the JURY ONE..

and we wil have no choice but to accept the APPEAL COURTs decision if its upheld...

but no one can tell us to LIKE IT..

and I would say there could be a huge outcry if it is sustained and it will be changed....

because its absurd...

what was he thinking/INTENDING  beyond a reasonable doubt...

it doesnt make sense..

well you are a mind reader of course...

so of course you know exactly what his intention was at the time of her death.....he was thinking I mustnt kill her or words to that effect....

you are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt he didnt INTEND TO KILL HER..

the defence has to PROVE HE INTENDED TO KILL HER....

how do you PROVE something that is going on in someones mind????...

people do snap.. especially those with heaps of pressure as RB keeps pointing out...

but because he didnt have a history of DV... doesnt mean he wasnt capable of cold blooded killing...

even psychos.. have a first victim.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Ted Bundy is a classic

Correct. Nobody has said anything to the contrary.

Gregg you having been on a wing and a prayer ever since you started posting on this thread. You are way out of your depth and it shows.

I even have severe doubts about Aussie's experience in Murder trials. How many did you do Aussie...any?

Your comments about what the Police should have been doing with the Crown Prosecutor leads me to believe that you don't have much knowledge procedure in Trials before a Jury.

Are you a Q.C. or are you a journeyman Solicitor who plied his trade mainly in the lower Courts? There are question marks in my mind about your experience in Murder Trials.

I went to a stack of Murder  Trials representing the Police in Telephone Intercepts. Usually I was there for most of the trial.

How about you Aussie, how much time have you spent in the Courtroom when a Murder Trial has been on?

Relevance...this goes to experience.

Oh Aussie and regarding how 'my copper mates' would have been all over the Prosecutor if he didn't pursue the  Insurance thing if it counted.

Sometimes I wonder how many times you have actually been in Court fighting criminal matters.

If you did, you would realise that once the Crown takes over proceedings, it is 'their ball game' not the Coppers. Other than assisting the Crown and giving evidence it is the Crown who wears the big boots.

Your words 'Coppers being all over the Prosecutor' its enough to have me accuse you of impersonating a Criminal Lawyer.

You have destroyed your own argument.  Further, in my day, at the end of every day of a Trial, the Cops involved and the Prosecutor would be down at a Pun having a great old time.

And......I've done four Murder Trials, perhaps more.  Four, off the top of my head.
