The biggest change comes when influencing one's own behaviours, not someone else's.

By always reflecting on the other side's behaviour as justifying Israel's behaviour is just a crutch and a way of avoiding change.

As far as Australia being the most productive and best of friends to both Israel and Palestine is for both the coalition and the alp to stop their sycophantic support of Israel and speaking honestly with and about Israel (and Palestine).

This is why Greens are closer friends with both Israel and Palestine.

Bullshit....How can any Government support Hamas....You can criticise Israel and its response to terrorism but fall silent on condemning Hamas....There can be no peace in this conflict while parties like the Greens support terrorism!!!

Your argument is too academic and not realistic. In order to have any hope of resolving the conflict we need to look at what is the biggest conflict area. I'd say it's Hamas.  End support for a terrorist organisation and maybe they'll be hope for a proper 2 state solution, that removes illegal settlements.  But while terrorism continues to exists AND be allowed to control the area, realism tells us there will be no movement to peace.

The greens need realism. That's what you constantly lack!

The Greens have condemned violence on both sides.

Where as Labor and the Coalition turn a blind eye to illegal activities of Israel and both have voted ignorantly on Israel in UN votes.

Both labor and the coalition are supporting illegal activities of Israel through their actions ... that's not the behaviour of friends.

Once again, you deflect from Israeli actions by pointing out behaviour of Palestine.
This cycle has not worked and will not work.

This is not the actions of a friend of Israel.

All you are promoting is the rise of terrorism for Islamic State against Israel.

Actually, id say any officially recognised territory being run by a terrorist organisation would have IS flooding in. That's what the greens are doing with their support for Hamas.

Like I said, I concentrating on any roadmap to a solution.  You're concentrating on fluff, and in doing so are supporting a terrorist organisation.  Be realistic.

I'd say their best bet would be to live next to a neighbour who's government recognised israels right to exist and doesn't have as part of their constitution to destroy Israel and kill all Jewish people.

And your claim that Hamas is the better of 2 evils is bullsh1t given they aren't actually providing any stability to the area because they themselves are a TERRORIST ORGANISATION.

Yes I bet the same story as Israelis on purpose defacating in Palestinian homes on the floor.  All was unsubstantiated

So as friends of Hamas, do the greens support and help with propaganda that may have been the reason this 16 year old girl wanted to be a martyr?

The choice is real and it's either negotiating a peace deal with the Palestinian Authority or war with Islamic State.

And if labor and the coalition were friends with Israel, they would constantly remind Israel that Israel's current actions are promoting the eventual war with IS.

This could end with the complete destruction of Israel. How is this a good outcome?
