Grin Grin Grin

Best laugh I've had today.

You're not assimilating particularly well though are you?

I actually think I'm in the majority, Mothra.

The Silent Majority.

Did you hear Abbott's speech to British politicians at The Margaret Thatcher Lecture?

Here's a part of it.

I believe the majority of unhyphenated Australians agree with Abbott on the issue of Western nations being at risk of falling foul of too much Islamic immigration.

I know you like a good panic Herbie, especially when you can be outraged at the same time but you're being silly.

You are talking about 2% of the population. Most of whom have assimilated and integrated nicely. Sharia Law is not on the horizon.

sure, it will in all likelihood never happen to herb,
but lefties feel all this "compassion" for people in boats yet think the shooting up of disability centre full of fine citizens is , dare i say, to be treated flippantly, almost as if they cant feel any empathy with the panic these workers must have felt, but they can feel empathy with the panic of someone on a sinking boat.

theres some strange psychopathology going on amongst people of this ilk. People who think like you mothra.
its inconsistent at best, its evil at worst

Oh get your hand off it Scoot. Where have i done anything but condemn the shoot-up?

I feel empathy for all victims of crime aand boat drownings too. I'm just not forming a lynching party.

neither is anyone else... just how would you deal with this epidemic in a way that would stop it??>..

its all very well being touchy feely...but we need ACTIONS not words... sometimes..

Could you be more patronising?

Or more wrong as to regarding how i think?

If the best you can do is put words in my mouth to argue a very simple premise, then you might want to go back to the drawing board. The queue forms to the right.

well there you go...

jumping to conclusions AGAIN..

they were not meant for YOUR mouth.. just all those do gooders out there who think turning a blind eye will make it all go away.

I am saying lets ask the families of those who die rather than proceed based on philosophical idealism of a perfect world

France bombed Raqqa as retaliation without the approval from the UN - that's vigilante

You are suggesting that the best course of action be determined by people who are out of their minds with grief? Can you not imagine the consequences of such a thing?

justice ?

No. That's not justice. It is revenge.

so if one of your children were murdered in cold blood you would turn the other cheek?????..

no matter which course is taken it will always have a touch of revenge in it....

call it satisfaction call it grief....but at the end of the day..

I am sure you would want something???..

for the death of your loved ones.

So which is it Cods? Not meant for my "mouth" (although they were addressed to me) but for all the "do-gooders" which is how i come across?

Didn't really think that through did you?

And what do you mean i don't like people telling me how i am seen on here? I cop it daily. Fortunately, the posters i respect and admire tend to be in agreement with me, so i persevere.

You're a funny old stick Cods. You're the first one to cry out when people get personal but you can never seem to help getting personal yourself. How i'm seen on here. Jesus christ.

base as in "back to basics"
one decides what behaviours are acceptable.
if a behaviour outside of what is acceptable occurs, one corrects the bad behaviour immediately.
in fact , the longer one takes to correct a bad behviour and the less consistent one is in correcting a bad behaviour , the worse for both parties.

america has been suffering for its inaction since 9/11.
