It's quite weird for me.  The more I hear about these things, the more I want the right to carry a nasty and deadly hand gun to protect myself and others from these insane arseholes.

That's not the answer Aussie. Chances are anyone wanting to cause trouble will be packing bigger heat than you.

You are safe. As safe as can be.

Guns make people unsafe.

it only takes one bullet

(1) Big heat vs no heat
(2) Big heat vs small heat

Who would prefer option 1??

Yes - but they don't know I'm packing heat and can use it.  I had a licence for a .38 special - I'm happy with the old 9mm Browning.

The biggest favour John Howard ever did as Prime Minister was to bring in stringent gun laws.

I don't want to hear that bullsh.t line, "guns don't kill, people kill".

That is the biggest copout I have ever heard.

For most of my working life I have been around guns both in the military and the Police.

The less guns out there, the safer you are.

You only have to look at the statistics that prove this.

Gun deaths here 1.4 per 1 million people, gun deaths U.S.A. 30 per 1 million people a year.

Yes Aussie - people of high standing in our community such
as lawyers,  judges, teachers etc should be able to carry a hand gun with a special license & character test
for use if there is a terrorist or other attack.

I'd feel a lot safer.

If you question climate science - you are a denier

If you question illegal entrants - you are a racist

If you question Islam - you are a Islamaphobic

The left do not want you to question anything. Independent thoughts are discouraged

its very noticeable gweg....how you only choose the really extreme posters on here of which every country has its share... to engage with.. many of us do dare to question the behaviour of certain Muslims...and they are not islamophobics.....just having their say??..

how dare you describe every one on here that you disagree with in this derogatory way... just to get your pompous rocks off...

I do not hate MUSLIMS>.. I dont even know one....unlike you

who seems to have surrounded himself with foreign cultures of all kinds....and is therefore an authority on all of them...
