Map of Tassie is an old one.

Go to the tourist bureau in Hobart, and ask the girls behind the counter if you can have a look at their map of Tassie. They never get tired of it   Wink

'Festy' is a new one to me - haven't heard that before.

All the rest are fairly common.

A lot of young Australians wouldn't know some of the old slang.

You remember when we used to call redheads blue or rangas?
- or the expression "flat out like a lizard drinking" or " the black stump"
bloody oath
bonza

They don't seem to use these terms now.  It also varies a bit depending on which state or territory you're in.
