It's a lot worse than ignorant. It's a perversion of the original meaning of these words in order to suit a Leftwing agenda that aims to stifle and vilify anyone who criticises Muslims for reasons of culture and religion.

It's a newly and arbitrarily created definition for an otherwise perfectly good composite word that means a morbid and debilitating fear of Islam.

The Leftwing also butchered the word 'racism' to now include any criticism or dislike of someone's culture or religion.

What's unfortunate is that even those professionals who make their living by trading with words, such as journalists, academics and politicians - have quickly adopted these new definitions to replace the original meanings.

Someone once claimed that all Islamophobia is based on racism.

And yes, informed criticism of Islam is not Islamophobia.

And who decides whether a criticism is 'informed'?

Muslims.

You are aliens, pal.

No criticism of Islam is 'Islamophobic'.  It's criticism. Being critical is not a symptom of phobia.

"Islamophobia" is criticism of Islam that Muslims do not like to hear and/or cannot refute. 'Islamophobia' is pertinent criticism of Islam - that's why you want to shut it down.

Well, sweeping the entire muslim population into a genetic sub-group of intelectual retards is a pretty big clue.

Let's play spot the contradiction.

muslims cause islamophobia

Islamophobes cause Islamophobia.

"Islamophobia is closed-minded prejudice against or hatred of Islam and Muslims.

"An Islamophobe is an individual who holds a closed-minded view of Islam and promotes prejudice against or hatred of Muslims."

So an open minded informed predudice against islam or muslims is NOT Islamophobia.

No. Any kind of prejudice is Islamophobia.

SO it is not permitted to widely consider an ideology and then completely reject it?

Oh, old boy, you are a silly. You don’t just reject Islam for yourself, you want it banned, killed, carpetbombed and nuked. You know what you are, old chap?

You’re a liberal.

You might not agree with what the Muselman has to say, but you’d fight to the death for his right to not be offended, no?

But give credit K - that statement's been revised from "someone once said all criticism of Islam is based on racism". FD won't admit to misquoting someone - but at least he will quietly correct the record when he's been exposed.

Do you see anything racist in moses' argument FD? You still haven't said.

If you see something, say something.

Except - if it's Muslims.  Following the murder of 14 people by an Islamic couple in San Bernardino:
A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.

If you see some Muslims behaving suspiciously, hug them., lest they accuse you of a backlash due to Paris, London, San Bernardino, etc.

Precisely.

You said that in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Cronulla Riots, didn't you?

It stopped Our Girls getting harassed on the beaches by gangs of Muslim youths - something the police didn't do despite YEARS of receiving complaints.

How is "being in the area" suspicious?

Just look like this - suspicious AND ridiculous.

...

Or like this 'UK' (ie Paki) policeman who sued his fellow policemen for laffing at his beard. ...

Can you respect that beard? Can you regard that guy as 'just like you'??

Can you, Rick with a silent P??
