Green senator Shoebridge and gun control Australia have never used facts they use lies and bullshit to promote their hoplophobia.
It really doesn't matter how many rounds it holds as non detachable magazines are not restricted in capacity since Howard changed our laws in 1996.
Quote:Most criminals saw the barrel down and shorten their unregistered shotguns, shortening the barrel on the Adler will also shorten the magazine resulting in less ammo capacity.
Shortening the barrel also reduces muzzle velocity with the projectile resulting in the gun having less energy, kinetic energy is Mass x Velocity squared /2 or MV^2/2.
With velocity being squared any reduction in velocity has a huge reduction in kinetic energy of the projectile.
Shortening the barrel also results in wider spread patterns making the gun less effective for longer ranges, the DPI only rates shotguns as being useful up to 30m, this effective distance gets shorter with decreasing barrel lengths.
The reality is less than 1% of all licensed firearm owners are interested in this Adler lever action shotgun which causes hoplophobes to crap their pants.
