Maybe you could show them your Mangina and explain how being someone's girlfriend isn't so bad.  Grin Grin

Criminals are not allowed to buy this Adler shotgun.

Laws don't necessarily stop people from doing things.

No,    .....but if we had laws, and a justice system, which removed violent criminals from society, PERMANENTLY!, Australia would be a safer place.

Q.
Do you contest that statement ?

And we [collectively] would enjoy i higher modicum of peace within all of society, imo.

TODAY in Australia, pump action shotguns are proscribed 'weapons'.

TODAY in Australia, pump action shotguns are deemed to be too dangerous for Australians to own.

But up until the John Howard gun 'buy back' [post the 1996 Port Arthur atrocity],
i owned 2 pump action 12g shotguns [along with a number of other firearms], for 20+ years.

I have been 60+ years on this planet, and have been a peaceable and law abiding Australian citizen.

I have never been to goal.

I have never been charged with, nor convicted of, any criminal offence.

I have never had a drink driving charge or conviction.

I have never had an illicit drug possession/use charge or conviction.

Should i be permitted to own a firearm ???

AGAIN; For 20+ years i did, lawfully possess 2 pump action 12g shotguns [along with a number of other firearms], without incident.

Is the Australia community, in 2015, safer, now that many, many peaceable and law abiding Australian citizens have had to surrender firearms ?

I think not.

Why so ?

Because the criminal class in Australia, clearly, still have access to, and possession of firearms!

.....whereas, because of laws passed by our governments, many peaceable and law abiding Australian citizens DO NOT.

AND YET
, our Australian governments continue to REFUSE, to pass laws which would see violent criminals permanently removed from society!

Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt!

We are governed, 2015, by criminals [at worst], and at best, by the CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT, imo.

.

Quote:

IMO, everybody in Australia who is;
1/ over 25 years of age,
2/ has not had a criminal conviction in the last 20 years,
3/ and has never been convicted of illicit drug abuse, AND, has never been convicted of drink driving,

.....should be allowed to own a firearm [if they want to own one] to defend their home and family.

"Israel & US are one!"

IMO, if we want a peaceful society, we need to make the criminals frightened,
......of the peaceable and law abiding citizens.

AND, remove 'career' criminals from society, permanently.

What is wrong with that ?

A predictable response from a Hoplophobe.

Alpha Cheng to attend anti-gun rally

The son of murdered NSW Police accountant Curtis Cheng will attend a rally against gun violence in Sydney.

Alpha Cheng will be joined on Thursday by Mary Cusumano, whose husband Angelo was shot dead in an armed robbery in 1995, at the rally hosted by Gun Control Australia.

Representatives from the Homicide Victims Support Group will also attend the gathering with Greens MP David Shoebridge and Labor MP Hugh McDermott at Wynyard Park from 10.30am.

The Police minister saying Green senator Shoebridge's fear campaign publicity stunt isn't helping and he should stick the the truth.

The police minister also said the guns sold in gunshops are not a problem, greater than 97% of all gun crime is done with unregistered illegal guns.

'New South Wales Greens MP David Shoebridge joined the call to ban the Adler and said any weapon with the capacity to fire eight shots in quick-succession should be considered a risk to the community.

"What's remarkable, is that this weapon is going to be classified as one of the least restricted weapons," he said.

"It is remarkable that this weapon will have the same classification as an air rifle." '

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-11-05/pro-gun-lobbyists-disrupt-gun-control-appe...

'The gun features a smooth cycling action, 5-shot tube magazine and a soft ventilated recoil pad.'

http://nioa.net.au/news/latest-news/view/38/adler-lever-action-shotgun/latest-ne...

Category               Description
'C3                         a pump action shotgun with a magazine capacity no more than 5 rounds'

'A1                         an air rifle'

http://www.police.wa.gov.au/Ourservices/PoliceLicensingServices/Firearms2/Firear...

So it has 5 rounds not 8 and the category isn't the same as an air rifle.

The politician is a liar.

Son - I have a large penis, and have owned several firearms including a sniping rifle of .303 calibre, special job with a sliding rear sight and heavy, long barrel and a few other mods, that I've used in foreign lands... back home, even though I live on a rural property, I had and have no use or need for firearms and surrendered mine without discussion, and have no desire, unlike my neighbours, to kill kangaroos and deer that live here, for no valid reason that I can see.

Problem is - when a small man installs a regime that uses any artifice to remove legal firearms from people who have done no wrong, and opens up massive social divisions in doing so - they begin the process towards a civil war initiated by that same small man in the guise of government, and remove from the populace their opportunity to self-defend against criminals and also against criminal government.

Wolves in Sheep's Clothing... socialist of fascist makes no difference.... they are all the same.
