The Anti Gun Rally In Sydney
Nov 5th, 2015 at 5:54am

Alpha Cheng to attend anti-gun rally

The son of murdered NSW Police accountant Curtis Cheng will attend a rally against gun violence in Sydney.

Alpha Cheng will be joined on Thursday by Mary Cusumano, whose husband Angelo was shot dead in an armed robbery in 1995, at the rally hosted by Gun Control Australia.

Representatives from the Homicide Victims Support Group will also attend the gathering with Greens MP David Shoebridge and Labor MP Hugh McDermott at Wynyard Park from 10.30am.

How many people turned up to this anti gun rally greenswine?

Quote:
But unlike most other lever action shotguns, it has a magazine capacity of 7 rounds, with another in the barrel, meaning it can fire up to eight shots in rapid succession

For starters nobody keeps a round in the chamber so gun control Australia are claiming everyone breaks safety rules that had to be passed before getting a licence.

I know someone who has an Adler it does not hold 7 x 3.25 inch shotgun shells it holds 7 of the smaller 2.75 inch shells
You would be lucky to fit 5 3.25 inch shells in the Adler even though GCA claim 7 will fit, the senate inquiry into firearms had senators telling gun control Australia there was a profound level of ignorance in their organization.

Lever action shotguns take a lot longer to reload compared to a bolt action shotgun with a magazine, you can change a magazine in 1 second yet the Adler requires every round to be thumbed into the tube under the barrel.
The lever actions are really slow to reload, this is more hoplophobic idiocy from gun control Australia.

Criminals are not allowed to buy this Adler shotgun, it's despicable of GCA to use victims of criminals who never had licences or registered firearms to call for more crackdowns on law abiding firearm owners.

Can't even get my name right.
Your poor eyesight should exclude you from using a gun full stop.

Laws don't necessarily stop people from doing things.

Shoebridge should seek professional help for his hoplophobia.

Shoebridge tried to get a firearms license and failed, he was told he is not a fit and proper person when his application was rejected.

Ducklings have been brought to the NSW Parliament to make a political point about the dangers of shooting ducks after dark.

NSW law was changed last month to allow the hunting of native game birds after dark by specially licensed shooters, as long as they used sufficient lighting and the ducks were close to crops.

Greens MP David Shoebridge said his party also opposed daytime duck hunting, but that hunting the birds under the cover of darkness was particularly cruel.

"We know from statistics that 25 per cent of ducks that are shot during daytime duck hunting will die over weeks or days afterwards from an injury, they're not killed straight away," he said.

"When you shoot them at night, when you can't even see what you're shooting, well that rate of ducks that are going to be injured and not killed and die over weeks or days is just going to increase."

Guns should be outlawed -

not even the police should have them except in exceptional circumstances.

There are too many people being shot & killed -

With the bit about being close to crops is that allowing farmers to take care of ducks eating their crops, about fuking time.

Shoebridge sounds like he wants people to buy cage farmed ducks to eat instead of getting their own free range ducks like our ancestors have done for generations.

David is a hoplophobic bigot who was refused a firearms licence on the grounds he is not a fit and proper person, he has the SMH article stating this on his website.

If you have the right equipment night hunting allows you to see everything in complete  darkness.
FLIR scopes have been available for years, with the way the pigs start to run and difficulty in hitting moving targets you can see why farmers need semi autos.

A good FLIR scope will show cat footprints on tiled floors leaving a trail until it cools down.
