That would be true if Antarctica was suffering a net ice loss. As Antarctica is still accreting ice, according to NASA; that would seem not to be so. All other things being equal.

Only in Antarctica and the glaciers there are thinning and more ice is going into the sea, making ice shelves bigger. That snow from way past is compacting into ice has nothing to do with anything.

Only if there is a net ice mass loss. An ice mass gain will logically reduce sea level, all other thing being equal.
