By your own quote, a sockpuppet is...

These require seperate accounts. Changing the name won't get past a ban, nor will it allow you to speak to yourself like you are a different person. Even the last part should have made it clear how totally and utterly smacking wrong you are;

A sock account is when one person has multiple accounts. This is again you doing nothing more than claiming that 2+2=5 because you have an agenda. Even your own quote proves you wrong and you are either to weak or dumb to admit it.

What kind of stupidity is this?

When someone changes their name, all former posts as well as all quotes change to the new name. Any new people would only see the current name, and if they looked at old posts, they would still only see the current name even for posts made years ago under a former name. There is nothing for them to get confused over as the member name is linked to one member account.

Also, as the name changes for all posts at the same time, it is impossible for someone to agree with themselves just by changing their name. That is what the whole sock issue allows to do as some members have multiple accounts for that reason.

It would have been much easier to admit your sock accusation was wrong then to come up with BS about new members getting confused.
