well, my boys did well ... about 1kg of lollies each. I guess there are less miserable old men in my neighborhood then in Herbs.

Funnily enough they weren't very hungry at dinner time.

Don;t know how my little fella went. He's off to his first ever Halloween party sleepover. They were going trick-or-treating in a bunch.

The daughter is too cool for trick-or-treating now. She's off to a bigger kids party.

The house is quiiiiiiieeeeeet.

Little fella lol He's about 40 now Grin Grin Grin

Hilarious Grin Grin

I'm not even 40 yet. But keep trying.

Bahahahahahahahaha

You had grandkids on yahoo did they all dissapear....

What a cracka you are....

No. I didn't.

I know you are obsessed with the ages of women (never men, interestingly) but it is only because you are so very self-conscious about your own.

Embrace it. You've earned every one of your years.

No. I wasn't. But going on how utterly delusional you are i'm not surprised you think so.

Not that you really think so. It's just that i'm younger even than your pretend age.

And that really bugs you. Always has.

Rubbish you did so, no need to be so touchy. You and the older ladies used to post together all the time doting over your grand kids.

If you didn't want the past following you around maybe you should have picked another avatar instead of dragging that silly mothra one over here where people actually know who you are.

Be who you want I don't care many people never even aged on yahoo.

That's gotta be a good thing.

Own goal there He Man.

Why would keep my name and avatar if i was remotely worried what people thought of me or if i intended to reinvent myself?

ahhh ... kids might have some fun ... of course Herb is opposed to it. Cheesy Cheesy

He's scared he might one day have to cough up for some lollies for the kids in his neigbourhood

I've always used the opportunity to unload some of my 5 cent pieces, but then when I smiled and revealed my stained and broken teeth to them, and pop out my glass eye and winked at them - the kids would run away screaming for their mothers ...

... and that's when I would take off my old torn and filthy raincoat and put it back into the wardrobe for next year.

I haven't had a single Hallowe'en door-knock for years now. Worked like a charm.  Wink

At least I was a little more subtle than Peter who lives opposite me. His strategy was to open the door and roar out "F**K OFF!" in a deep baritone voice that even had me frightened ...

Is that the same one you use for flashing at the railway station Herbie?

Get some lollies and stop being the grinch that stole Halloween.

I certainly do.

Reply #5.....to keep the bastards honest

I hate Americanisms......but kids are kids so I buy a couple of bags of lollies to give out.

Besides, Einstein, it seems that Halloween was not born in the USA after all.

Ha!

Unfortunately......that hasn't worked for me.

I'm 45.....and bloody proud of it.

Why?

One of my cousins (by marriage) died of cancer in her early 30's.

She left behind a 2 yr old and a 4 month old.

Bloody awful stuff. Anyway, I now appreciate every birthday and every year of life God gives me.

I disagree.

Herb has a way with words.

And he certainly DOES have a sense of humour.

It's of the prehistoric variety which always makes me laugh.
