Love seeing the more brainless rightards here, True Blue and Armpit lashing out at “Juliar.” There is a reason for that: they instinctively know it will be PM Gillard that will become increasingly recognised as the greatest PM for 60 years.

Julia is out there working at a high level in a field she loves: education. No sitting in the HoR waiting and wishing for someone to offer a high paying job like Costello did.

Gillard will shine in our history when abbott & howard are mere footnotes.

Gillard was one of the most unpopular and divisive PMs this country ever had. She was also never once voted in by the people.

She took the Labor Party to its lowest ever polls and the 2013 election had the ALP receiving its lowest-ever primary vote.

That wasn't the question, Mechanic. How was JuLiar divisive?

are you kidding me???

she tried to drive a wedge between every male and female in the country by playing the "Sexist" card..

bloody pathetic... especially when she promised never to use her gender as an excuse for failure..  Roll Eyes

Her misogynist speech was in answer to Abbott making accusations about Misogyny himself, That's right the holder of over 7 Ernies was hypercritical enough to be making sexist allegations. Abbott got what he deserved.

Hurts, doesn’t it? But you know it is true.

abbott was just a thug, Howard just bribed the electorate.

He didn’t like what he got, did he?  Grin Grin Grin Those on the Lib front bench didn’t either, the body language visible in the QT video that day makes that plain.

OTOH, Gillard inspired and gave confidence to millions of women. No other speech by any other politician went viral like that.

actually most women disliked her.
the labour vote amongst women went up when Rudd replaced her .
her speech went viral the same way a train wreck goes viral,  the number of hits is no indication that the viewers were part of the fan club.  most probably just watched it and went "stoooopid biitch "

as you seem determined to prove on an almost daily basis, there are lots of things you don't know.

that in itself should convince you that she was doing brilliantly ... no one hates a successful woman more than other women.

an element of truth there.
mindless people do hate the cream.
you are right that when we look at a successful person like Trump or Murdoch , we must conclude they are doing brilliantly because so many mediocre people hate them  Wink

well if they hated Gillard PURELY because she was successful, as suggested by John, are YOU suggesting that this is a mindful position, developed as a result of deep consciousness and logical reasoning
