I thought only the young liberals did that sort of childish thing.  It's OK, the aussie taxpayer will pick up the tab

wow... a $590 table. How will we ever afford to replace it. I've seen more expensive tables in clearance stores.

of course you'd excuse it Cheesy Cheesy

Perhaps in the Vinnies section where you furnish your house that seems expensive but a $590 is cheap. Keating bought a $12,000 table 25 years ago.

All we have is a cracked table. I've had worse happen in my house from a group of teenagers (6"2'+) mucking around.

I know, dear, but is this the right forum to disclose your prediliction for toy boys?

Maybe. Mr Abbott was our Jobs Prime Minister, after all.

What a swell party it was.

Oh I know dear, the old boy will be sending himself stupid if that at all were possible, Its a Jolly world, NO?

what did it have to do with Tony.???>.it was probably mal and julia dancing on it....

goodness there goes next years budget..

.good job Bill will be in soon he knows all about getting money from out of thin air..nudge nudge  Wink Wink

It was furnished with tax payer's money.    As a pensioner on the public teat, you don't pay tax to replace it - I do.   If it were a Labor party knees up, you would be piddling your panties in rage along with Longweaksperm.   Talk about rusted on!

I can't understand why you hypocrites care in the least about minor damage to a small table in parliament house. When Clive Palmer entered parliament that spent $25000 just making the seat bigger and stronger and the lazy sod doesn't even turn up.

Must you have it explained to you Maria?

It is not that the table was broken it is how the table was broken.

And the fact that staff were not allowed to enter the room for 4 days after the party.

Not especially savoury behaviour with public property is it?

Yes Mother, but the cost of that table is one tenth the price of Mr Abbott’s accommodation for the 2012 Pollie Pedal.

No other pollies claimed for that one, but it’s a small price for the erectorate to pay to see Mr Abbott in his bicycle shorts.

I wonder if he wore them when he was dancing on the taxpayer’s table.

Maria commenting on context best Laugh I have had in a long while.

Why don't you tell everyone why you would consider the murder of a right-winger to be acceptable?

I see, you just want to show how stupid you are ..... you should have said so from the beginning, it would have saved me wasting time putting together an answer for you.

Finally Abbott makes the right call on something ... maybe losing the leadership has taught him a thing or two

Tony Abbott has said he will pay for a marble table that was broken at a party he hosted after being toppled as Prime Minister.
