I know the system like the back of my hand.....I live in Victoria....you? I doubt he got anywhere near that many votes for Prime Minister....& his predecessor got nowhere near that number either......take that to the bank.

That's the actual number of votes he received in his constituency. Tony Abbot received slightly less. If you think that people actually vote for the PM in Australia, you are way off the mark.

Just was checkin....I know better, but there are dozens here that swear they vote for PM until they actually have to think of when they actually did, only to have to admit they didn't. You can search my posts...I've had this debate a few times, & I'm the one that always wins! Sorry if I confused ya

BTW.....the answer was 0 votes......Zero votes for PM

I'd like to hear bogarde's thought on this - and all the others who are so excited by the prospect of Trump "fixing" the muslim issue ("the next Charles Martel" Lionel Eddress described him as today).

I wonder if they are a little concerned that all out predictions of him using that (and other) rhetoric as a cynical tool to get attention - and never had any intention of actually implementing anything about it if he became president - are proving correct.

Oh Trump will fix the Muslim problem alright and lead the way for other countries to do the same as well. Muslims can be sure of that.

Then again I don't come from a demographic that has an IQ < 81 so I really can't be sure if muslims will grasp that at all. It may fly right over their collective heads like most other moderate to complex issues requiring a bit more thought.
