It's the swine of the Leftwing media engineering public opinion through various devices.

Our free channels here in Sydney place a FAR greater importance upon what the Footy Heroes have been up to lately that's got them into trouble with the law, and then traffic accidents, and then someone's bedroom catching on fire, and then another Vietnamese fisherman being swept off the rocks and drowned  -- then doing reports about America's race to the White House.

It's a case of either the news directors and editors genuinely being ignorant moróns - or more likely, and more correctly, these news honchos believing that the majority of their viewers in the suburbs are low-brow, knuckle-dragging imbeciles who can't handle anything beyond village-pump gossip and concerns.

When I first came to this colony from The Mother Country I remember how shocked-and-traumatised I was upon learning how utterly inane, trite and vapid YOUR news bulletins were. I'm still suffering from PTSD from those days. There's a slight twitching in my left cheek and a bad tic in my left eyelid as a legacy from that trauma.

The little guy in your picture looks like our youngest at that age except around the eyes. Give him a little suit and a bright bow tie and I might need a double take.
