What's your reason for opposing it?

Other than the fact that

1. Mexico won't pay for it
2. The cost will be prohibitive
3. Its easier to just prosecute those businesses that employ illegal immigrants
4. The first 3 reasons.

Yes, other than those, because they are not real reasons.

1.  The thought that the worlds most powerful nation cannot negotiate a deal with a 2nd world nation is laughable.  The threat of reducing or cutting off the $750 million annual foreign aid, or repatriating some illegals would do nicely.  This is how easily "do nothing bitches" like you give up.

2.  The cost of illegal immigration is higher.  And if mexico pay for it...
3.  Not even close.  Setting up a bureaucracy and enforcing it is an order of magnitude greater than pouring some concrete and some razor wire.
4.  Nothing there.

These are clearly reasons you've tried to cobble together after the fact.

You didn't reason yourself into the position, and you can't be reasoned out of it.

Nice try, Honky. Mexicans would then get a plane ticket and fly over that wall.

Stop the boats, eh?

Yes.  Did anybody say "we'll build a wall and that will solve the problem 100%?"

[/quote]

No, Honky, they just said they'll spend billions and over a decade building a fortress akin to the Great Wall of China just for few percentage points.

Soomehow, I think Donald Trump will forget about that wall. You're free, of course, to keep it in mind.

Gee, nobody ever thought of that.

Oh wait, Trump did:

Quote:
Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.

He made cultural comments about Mexicans - not racist comments.

'Inflammatory'?

Here it is again ...

Exactly. Donald Trump's not racist, Herbie. Culture is not a race.

They're fees, Honky. As you've rightly pointed out, the US is a part of NAFTA.

Quote:
Most applicants applying for a non-immigrant visa are temporary visitors coming to the United States for business or pleasure. "B-1" visas are issued to temporary visitors for business and short-term training; "B-2" visas are issued to temporary visitors for pleasure. Most Mexican nationals are issued a combined Border Crossing Card and B-1/B-2 visa either in the form of a card (BCC/Laser Visa) or a foil affixed to their Mexican passport (BBBCV).

As an aside, ive heard from several sources on several occasions that the media will spend all day talking about and showing  trump, but the second he mentions the TPP,  they cut away.

What could this mean?

Missouri;

Trump is the winner by 1726 votes . . . .for now. There's likely to be a recount.

It's important for delegates. As it stands now Trump gets 37, Cruz 15.
It could take weeks.

Cruz has form on recounts. He was deeply involved in the famous hanging chad recount in Florida that killed off Gore.

You have to admire Greg's creative design skills. Is that what you do for a job Greg?

Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that his supporters would respond with "riots" if he fails to secure the nomination at July's convention in Cleveland.

"I think you'd have riots," Trump told CNN on Wednesday. "I think you'd have riots. I'm representing a tremendous many, many millions of people."

Shouldn't he be arrested for inciting violence?

Its time we put aside all of our silly left and right differences and got behind the Trump, Trump is for everyone, he benefits all, under a Trump government the Right will be able to fulfill their capitalist fantasies and under Trump the Left will still be able to be spectacular failures and losers that want to root their cousins so whats the point in fighting about it?, Trump will provide an environment where we can all thrive in our own way, Go Trump  Smiley

That's not inciting a riot. That's just making a reasonable prediction

Incitement would require active encouragement, exhortation or invitation. There has to be a direct nexus between the alleged inciter's actions and the riot.
Laughed out of court.
