The video is no surprise, that's exactly what you get on forums, it would just be worse on the phone. I can understand how that would be hard to deal with for a youngster.

I frequent a US sporting forum with a political section. It is disgusting. Totally polarised, abuse, racism, sexism, all from a political angle. Over the past few years it has increased, I am still surprised at the extent and severity of it.

US citizens appear to me to be victims of a long running campaign to achieve this outcome. While they are fighting each other, they have not noticed that their country has been stolen and the Presidents are a passing parade of actors for the same masters.

What we are seeing now with the Trump rallies are two things:

1. the culmination of decades of socialist left/anarchist activism: they can't get what they want through the democratic voting process, or at least they are fearful they won't get what they want, and

2. and this is just my own suspicion, a meeting held about a week ago of the principal people in the Republican party who are determined to make a last ditch attempt at stopping Trump probably decided that paying people to stir up trouble could lead to the scenes we have had. Watergate theory didn't go away, it just moved into different areas.

But I don't think Trump will be phased. Even that evil bastard in the WH has to guarantee his freedom to speak, with troops if necessary.

And as I said already, this kind of stuff worked well for Richard Nixon in 1968.
