I dont think theres any doubt that leftards operate from a more "animalistic" mind frame.

your average rightard is fairly successful and this has brought some self confidence and some humility because they know what a grind it has been.
and you cant BE successful if you are too emotional.

Leftards seem overly emotional and overly negative.

its a chicken and the egg argument....

Do people who are overly emotional and negative fail at life (seems likely) and then become leftards because the left will go easier on them

or

do leftards just take the easy route through laziness and then become bitter, angry and resentful of those around them who are successful.

the problem is this.

If you are a failure and you are honest with yourself, you have to say "that guy succeeded because he's a better man then me"
Thats tough on the ego, which will always try to preserve ego-state (i think thats just an evolutionary thing, because people dont biologically want to assume loser status if they can rationalise it).
So a loser's ego has a much easier time saying

Oh that successful guy...he's just selfish
he got there by standing on heads
he cheated the system.

I'm glad i'm not like him.

This helps the leftard to sleep at night without feeling too much pain.
I can understand it, though it is just a falsehood they are telling themselves ,
