The March 1 contests for which up to date polls exist show that most of them could be a rerun of SC

I wouldn't expect any of them to get near Nevada's result but who knows when people get that stampede rush.

Texas with its big haul of delegates is a special case. Cruz should win that but the most recent poll shows them virtually tied. The important thing is Cruz has no chance of a winner takes all, it will be a shareout and a pretty even one.
Those are my thoughts ATM but hey, I've got the feeling a wildfire has started here.

Trump wins in Nevada, getting 45.9%. The Republicans are in big trouble. They are less united than in the previous two elections. The situation will remain in flux, but if they don't get behind one candidate soon, they could hand the election to the Democrats.

But they are now in the process of picking that candidate. That's what the process is. And even the RNC, the establishment, has said they will back Trump if he's the one.
There's been a lot of bullish*t talked about a GOP mess, mostly by Democrat supporters and left wing bigots.

But Russian blow-ins like yourself, who brought their sh*tty ideology with them, seem to fit right in. Although, I don't think Australians will tolerate what you pricks did to the Ukrainians.

That's not fair.

He's a Russian jew, who've been smacking Russia over for over 100 years.  Even Putin has to deal with them very carefully.

Romney just called on Trump to release his tax returns saying they would likely be a "bombshell." You can be sure that the GOP establishment is behind Romney's request.

Trump's thoughts on a VP:

GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump says he would likely name a “political person” to be his running mate should he win the Republican nomination.

“I do want somebody that’s political because I want to get lots of great legislation, that we all want passed, that’s just sitting there — for years and years and years we’ve have things sitting there that would be so good. Including proper healthcare and other things,” Trump said during a conversation Wednesday with Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) on at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

“So we’re going to probably choose somebody that is somewhat political,” he added.

Trump noted, however, that the primary characteristic he is looking for in a running mate is somebody who would be a good president.

“The main quality that you want is somebody that could be a great president, if something happens to you, that’s got to be — don’t you think that’s got to be number one?” he asked rhetorically.

The business mogul added that the second quality he is looking to for in a running mate is the ability to help get things done in government.

“The most important thing is you have to have somebody who would be a great president, but after that you want somebody who can help you with legislation, getting it through, etc. etc. etc.” Trump said.

While he tipped his hand on some of the qualities he is looking for in a vice president, Trump said that he is most focused on winning the nomination in the first place.

I don't know what the etiquette is here but I think he should find someone before the nomination.

I don't agree.

It would be an unnecessary distraction from the Messianic popularity he himself has been enjoying as a solo attraction, and would only serve to jeopardise his current popularity.

Whoever he now declared to be his running mate - Sarah Palin, et al - would only give the hostile press and media services a chance to dig for dirt with this nominee in the hope of finding historic material with which to discredit Trump through his choice of a bad egg.

Ah, so you didn't look at the NBC vote analysis as I advised Greg.
You not only don't know the truth, you don't WANT to know the truth.

And there's no white flag.
In order to answer your question earlier, I would have to write an essay to expound my views fully and I don't have time for that.

The Drudge Report:

Internet news mogul Matt Drudge has called the Republican race for Donald Trump.

Moments after the billionaire businessman sailed to an easy victory in the Nevada caucus Tuesday night, Drudge declared him the victor in the fight for the GOP nomination.

“THE NOMINEE,” Drudge wrote.

The conservative news aggregator, who seemingly supports Trump, added additional thoughts on Twitter.

“There has been little doubt for months… AND ZERO DOUBT TONIGHT!” Drudge wrote.

Herb,

Sarah Palin

No chance. Trump is no fool. No, he's going to pick someone regarded as having gravitas and moderation from the Congress or the Governors.

I sure hope so.

Whoever he picks mustn't look weedy and limp-wristed 'gay' as so many former deputies have done.

I'm putting my money on a military man who is savvy about politics and isn't afraid to KICK ASS.

My own choice would very definitely be Newt Gingrich after that seminal speech he made in which he pulled no punches.

Age has nothing to do with a 4-year term at very least.

Gingrich:

"Commenting on the explicit erosion of free expression occurring in America, Gingrich cited an interview with former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers who declared “creeping totalitarianism on campuses.” He says, “We have to be as militant defending America, as the enemies of America are in trying to destroy America.”

Gingrich also says in the interview students should have help litigating against some of their most egregious, ideologically-inclined professors on the grounds the students are being cheated out of a real education due to brainwashing and propaganda.

He believes that if a person believes in Sharia law, American citizenship should be denied, since it is inimical to the U.S. Constitution.

When assessing the difference between conservatives and liberals views on terrorism, Gingrich says conservatives think terrorists should be killed while liberals want to know what America did to you to make you a terrorist. He says the only common ground conservatives have with terrorists is if it is a burial ground".

Tough as nails.
