Remember, only 55% of the registered voters in the US voted in the 2012 Presidential Election.
There are better than 150,000,000 million registered voters in the US.
That means about 65,000,000 registered voters are needing a better reason to vote than they had in 2012.
Barack Obama had less than a 5,000,000 vote in plurality in 2012.
Without a black candidate to mobilize the black vote this year, many professional pollsters predict blacks will probably not be voting in 2016 in their all time high 2008 & 2012 numbers.
I think the GOP has the best chance of winning the Presidency in years.....it could possibly be a landslide depending on who wins the nomination.
Probably not, but the minorities are strongly in the democrats side, and add them to the stronger woman vote and the republicans barely stand a chance. But it's fun to watch all you hopefuls believe that a nut will win presidency. For the sake of comedy I actually hope you're right. The republicans havent counted on the minority vote for years. They traditionally vote democrat anyway, but as I mentioned before, traditionally....unless very motivated....traditionally they will stay home & not vote. As far as the woman vote. If you are so niave to believe the American woman is a single item voter....think again.....at best Clinton will get a 10% plurality in the woman vote. That said, with minorities staying home.....they don't like Clinton anyway.....but if they stay home that's about 2 to 3 million votes the democrats will lose from 2012.
Couple that with a newly energized disgruntled voter block, you know the Trumpers, who when they do vote, usually go to the right.....& I see the dems lucky to hold on to most of what they have Congressionally.
So black voters are single item voters but American women aren't? Women, in the majority, won't vote for a republican nut wanting to take away their rights and health programs. It's not just that Clinton is a woman, it's the fact the republicans are crazy religious zealots that drives the *majority* of women away from the party. Minorities Women Educated white men. That's the democrat bloc. The Republicans get the trumpers, religious zealots, and the poorly educated white men. Within the bloc they might have tremendous support for Trump, but once it hits the real fight then we'll see the real standings. I'll be honest in saying I don't think clinton has a strong chance. And I'll be honest in saying I hope you prove me wrong. Because a Trump presidency would mean I can get drunk each day while watching the news. You need to get out more often. Take a trip to the USA.....you'd probably be able to cross off most of those misconceptions you have, but remember them around election time...to see how wrongly you've been informed by those you trust today. Oh I have no misconceptions about majority of Americans being Nqr. I mean to believe that the problem with gun massacres is that there aren't enough guns is enough to tell me many are crazy. But crazy enough to vote trump? I hope so!! We'll see by the end of March, or April if he will be the nominee.
AFAIK, it's way too early in the process to guarantee he's the guy.
In politics there are way too many variables to guarantee anything, that is until after the actual election.
