no surprise there.

As to the Poll, .. you can only vote once, and so I can imagine your frustration at waiting for results. They aren't displayed on a daily basis because I want people to honestly reply, rather than look at the 'trend', so to speak.

Sorry about that..

Of course, if no new voters come in, it will be a bit of a drag... BUT... what do you call the US of A elections..??

Queenslanders go to vote today in Local Government elections. It has been a pretty lip-curling exercise.

In my electoral area we need a new mayor, as well as local councillors.

One Mayoral candidate refused to put up signs. I might vote for him just for that.!!

BUT INTERESTINGLY, we are also being faced with a Referendum... which relates solely to STATE GOVERNMENT matters. Roll Eyes

Huh?

Vote YES for a fixed 4 year STATE GOVT TERM..!! or
Vote NO to leave it at a 3 yr term (give or take)

If Queensland had more than one House, I'd consider a YES.
AS we don't .. it will be a NO. We couldn't get rid of Newman soon enough. And the harm to the environment (for one thing) continues, as a result of his govt's changes to Vegetation Protection laws.
Now Labor in QLD is trying to revoke those changes, but is being stymied by the LNP, and some crossbenchers.

I must say that what has occurred in Queensland due to the Newman Government laws is shocking, and should be a message to all those who vote LNP, and actually care about the environment.
The Fed LNP's have proceeded in equally scandalous fashion, approving NEW MASSIVE COAL MINE which is pretty much guaranteed to destroy what is left of the Great Barrier Reef. !!

These actions cause irreparable damage to our environment... and many many millions of TOURIST dollars are also at risk. How sick is THAT.? About as sick as Trump.

We have NOTHING to skite about.

Emerson poll:
Trump. 65
Cruz. 12
Kasich. 1
(Rubio. 22)

Trump would take all the delegates on this and that would clinch the nomination.
I had thought Kasich might be a threat in NY but it doesn't look like it.
Emerson is a reliable poll.

On the other side, Clinton is worried about the poor black turnout, not for the nomination but for the election.
I did show the Dem v GOP voting figures so far and the deficit is noticeable.

Never mind, y'all still have Trump to kick around, eh Emma?
