And I hope he shakes hands with Mr Putin and reaches agreement with him on a whole range of things.

What a breath of fresh air that will be not just for the USA but for the whole world.

I'm putting this post in a Time Capsule in my backyard.

This (farce) of an election is only the beginning of America revealing the mounting crisis of the US political system. Not a single word has been said about addressing America's increasing social ills. Instead, the ruling class with all of its political instruments chooses to exploit the crisis, from the bullshit sweet-talking Sanders to Rug Man or some other far-right toolsack.

Meanwhile, the indignation that many Americas feel is burning like a slow fuse.

The only way I see as a way out of this mess is a well developed and conscious independent political movement of the working class along genuinely socialist and internationalist lines.

MIAMI, Florida — Polling data from Caddell & Associates shows that Americans across the political spectrum are infuriated with the permanent political class pushing through trade deals that don’t serve the interests of American workers.
The online survey of 1,950 conducted Feb. 23 to March 3, with a margin of error under 3 percent, found that 85 percent of voters rated “American jobs moving overseas because of the loss of American manufacturing” between a 6 and 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 as being an “extremely important problem.”
The polling results were provided exclusively to Breitbart News ahead of their public release by Pat Caddell, along with Americans for Limited Government’s Rick Manning and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) at a National Press Club press conference on Thursday morning.

The poll comes on the day of the next GOP presidential debate in Miami. There has yet to be a single question focused on the Trans Pacific Partnership and Trade Promotion Authority in previous debates. The issue has been treated like an afterthought by the mainstream media and by the political class, despite widespread anger among the electorate at elites over it.

A whopping 70 percent thought the same thing when it comes to “trade deals with other countries that make it easier to import their products into the U.S.”
The polling found similarly surprisingly high interest in controlling immigration to the United States. It found 64 percent of all voters thought the same when it comes to “increasing border security and controlling immigration.”
When it comes to wage stagnation, something both bad trade deals and endless immigration negatively affect, an astonishing 81 percent of voters rated it between a 6 and 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 when asked if “stagnation of lower-to-middle-income wages” was either an “extremely important problem” or “not at all an important problem.”

Ben Carson tells ABC News that he has been considering endorsing Donald Trump and leaning in the direction of endorsing the Republican front-runner.
"I have been considering it and I am leaning in that direction and more information will be forthcoming soon," Carson told ABC News in a statement this evening.

Carson plans to endorse Trump on Friday morning at Trump's news conference at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, according sources familiar with Trump’s news conference.

Odd how self-absorbed Cooper doesn't ask one question to the Rug Man over whether or not the US should continue to openly commit war crimes in Islamic countries nor does he speak to the debased character of the entire bourgeois political system out of which Trump has emerged.

Typical capitalist corporate news "media." Cooper is the embodiment of toxic runoff from the “war on terror” that both the Rethuglicon and Obama Administration have promoted for the past fifteen years and still has the nerve to ask the question "Is Islam at war with the West."

Carson was another Koch-funded toolsack experiment that ended in failure. What's so shocking about that? The reason he supports Rug Man is due to the increasing fact that the GOP is ripping itself apart and the rich, white, good 'ol boy paradigm they have in D.C. is no longer working.

Like I said, I work with a lot of hard-lined Rethuglicons and live more or less in a conservative county and no one I've spoken to who falls under that category around here can tolerate Cruz. One reason is simple: the guy is a Canadian and two his rhetoric is nothing more than well-worn theocratic nonsense when those around me are worried if they'll have a job tomorrow. GAWD doesn't pay the rent.
