It was 'cutting-edge' realistic horror at that time. Years later I saw it again - and was shocked once more - but this time because it was so pathetically weak and amateurish.

In those days we looked at movies differently, we understood that the technology wasn't there and we added imagination as a major component.

People today do not look at movies like that.
