SBS3 ... and guess why they're showing this?

Correct ... to help their ethnic audience scratch that itch and feel a little better about their 'minority' inferiority feelings.

But if I'm not mistaken, this 2-part doco actually has some praise for Britain's enterprise - and not the usual blistering condemnation.

It gets better, Lisa, Lisa.. sad Lisa, Lisa..... Athos and Genghis are forever slagging off about how superior the Asian monkey men are, so Herb is giving it back in spades.... giving them curry so to speak....

I, of course, respond to Genghis' forays into fantasy with

Exhortations to Socialist Brotherhood Struggle and Class Consciousness and Rejection of Imperialist Colonialist Capitalist Roading! Purge barbaric thoughts of non-compliance and honour the Socialist People's Leader in all things!

I can not believe that someone in 21 century tries to justify and glorify genocides carried out by British colonial fascism.

Years ago my Italian landlord of 15 years gave me hell for being a Pom because he said Captain Cook's lot should have wiped out the Abos to the last man, woman, and child when they first arrived here to save the sort of sh*tfight that is now a permanent feature of the Abo/WhiteFella divide.

Whether you consider Chinese monkeys or not it is irrelevant. The fact is that you are for sale and we will buy you all until your Disneyland become part of China and this is only a matter of time, as sooner as better for you.
When you become our, instead a British, colony we will be much more generous to you than Poms.
For example we will allow you to have own, democratically elected, head of state.

It wasn't 'Italians' - it was just this one person.

He was well into his 70's and had been a Blackshirt under Mussolini. He didn't suffer fools gladly. In his 70's he was tough as nails, with not an ounce of fat on him.

Guess who was his favourite tenant in a block of several units ...?

Give up?

Huh?

On the day I left after 15 years he loudly told the whole Real Estate office that I was the best tenant he had ever had ...

Not boasting, but ...
