Kids in the playground

Is this what the workplace has become?

Heard this from a family member yesterday. Two girls in the office sitting there sending emails to each other. The supervisor of one tells her, nicely, that they have to get this stuff done today and they don't have time for that.
Off she goes to HR and lodges a complaint of bullying.
Now I know this young guy, the supervisor. No way is he a bully.
The other girl gets told by her supervisor that she needs to get on with the work. She does.
The first one just sits there and sulks for the rest of the day and does nothing. Nobody is game to do anything about it.

Is this the end game of the industrial relations climate of today?

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

bogy that is nothing... I could keep you up all night and then some just telling you what goes on in just ONE section of the Public service...

they have more chiefs than indians in the P.S. and still it doesnt work...and it never will..you wouldnt know how many millions it is costing you and I on comcare claims alone....and all because the bosses are ham strung and afraid to challenge any of the staff....its a dreadful situation and getting worse and worse by the day....I dont know how many P.S there are in the whole of Australia but I tell you what.. I would lay money on about 75% being more than unhappy....

its a mindfield you would be surprised how many team leaders or supervisors only work part time.. or work two days from home....yes they even have supervisors in Sydney with staff  who live in  Adelaide...one person ran her whole dept [Syd/Melb] from home in Wagga....

it makes sense to who ever thinks up these conditions..
