Don't try and scare me DRAH, this has been happening for more than 100 years.

Its a cycle that goes something like this.

1. 30-years of global cooling from 1880 to 1910
2. 30-years of global warming from 1910 to 1940
3. 30-years of global cooling from 1940 to 1970
4. 30-years of global warming from 1970 to 2000

September 1957 - arctic decreases by 40%

May 1947 - arctic melting
