where are the greens policy to ban coal mining or non renewable energies? Or are they selling out their principles too?

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

greens.org.au/initiatives/vic/phase-out-old-and-dirty-coal-fired-power-stations

greens.org.au/policies/nuclear-uranium

greens.org.au/clean-energy-roadmap

After that deflection, back to Labor's Left.
Why are they heartless bastards?
Obviously Greens are to ethical for them, so why don't they create a new party.

Or is power at any expense, more important to them?

over 40 yrs?  Grin Grin Grin so they did sell out

thanks

This isn't about Greens so stop trying to create diversion.

Why is labor's left so power hungry, that they are willing to make themselves in the image of Tony Abbott.

Why are Labor's left such gutless bastards.

How do you come to that conclusion....It is the Labor Left who are opposing turn backs....The only voters the Greens can entice are disgruntled Labor voters who will not vote for the Coalition....That is why the Greens bullshit to remain relevant!!!

Smiley Smiley Smiley

Labor's Left will fall into line, like they always do because they are gutless. Labor's Right know this ... everyone knows Labor's Left are gutless sellouts.

Most people who are extreme left are gutless sell-outs if that is your opinion....The Labor Left are just as courageous as the Greens but do not have the numbers to formulate policy within the party....That is the problem with the Greens who have no idea about how the world works!!!

If Labor's Left were as courages as The Greens, they would of divorced the Right Faction and formed their own party. This way maintaining their ethical core.
Unfortunately Labor's Left are pigs with their head in the trough. They will gulp whatever crap is dished up to them.

Socialist Left (Not that they have an inch of Socialism in them anymore) should have long ago abandoned Labor and joined the Greens (though the political reality of funding and safe seats has probably stopped this). Labor Unity are dragging Labor kicking and screaming into irrelevancy and death.

Really the only thing stopping Labor right from outright joining the Libs seems to be the Libs non-stop attacks on trade unions, ignoring that large unions that make up Labor right like the SDA are little more than corporate hacks that have a long history of selling out their members to corporate interests, as well as promoting far-right wing social values such as homophobia and bigotry.

I have never heard of the ALP promoting far-right wing social values such as homophobia and bigotry....Care to back up that opinion with an independent source???

Well the Stolen Generation.

Sorry I wasn't talking about Labor as a whole, I was though talking about the Shop, Distributive & Allied Employees, the largest Union in the country and the biggest force within Labor.

They are bigoted, right wing hacks who have long history of selling out workers to terrible EBA's. (latest atrocious piece of poo they forced workers to sign literally lowered their wages by a large margin but was knocked back by fair work)

Quote:
The SDA has taken socially conservative positions[2] especially concerning issues like abortion,[3] IVF, and same-sex marriage in Australia.[4][5]

The SDA made a submission in 2005 to the Victorian Law Reform Commission (VLRC) opposing the provision of in vitro fertilisation and other assisted reproductive technologies to same sex couples.[6]

While speaking on marriage during the 2007 Labor national conference the SDA's national secretary, Joe de Bruyn, and other members of the Labor Right, were heckled by delegates who supported same-sex marriage.[7]

The SDA has also been criticised as having a disproportionate influence over the Australian Labor Party, influencing party policy towards more socially conservative positions.[8] The SDA argues that it merely has the same amount of influence that any large union would have over Labor, especially one which identified with the dominant faction within the party.[1]

It was within the labor party that did the deal, to push out a progressive, to get him elected. That reveals this wasn't just a single dickhead.

What you fail to understand is not everyone cares about gays or wants them to raise children, which is their right in a free society....Whilst I do not oppose gay marriage or anyone's right to have children I respect other people's right to make their own judgements and promote their own values....The more the Greens alienate centre left voters the less support they will gain from moderates who do not care less about fringe issues!!!

It's not me who fails to understand. You asked for an example and it was supplied.
Also it is not Greens that are alienating centre left voters, it's the continual shift right of Liberal and Labor that is doing that. Slowly and surely their combined primary is decreasing.

Greens are already well into their way of cannibalizing Labor left and Nationals seats. It's quite interesting to watch as Labor acts stunned thanks to the inaction of it's pathetic right faction.

What would be nice is if the Socialist Alliance could agitate industrial/trades workers effectively and once again pull an effective left once more from the actual hard labour who are now firmly "Howard Battlers". Too bad the SA are too up their own ass about some new Homeopathy miracle cure or Anti-Vaxx conspiracy nonsense to ever actually engage with people beyond a Socialist historical reenactment society. "Lenin said a Newspaper helped him, we should do a newspaper! Things totally haven't changed since 1918! Oh and our Newspaper will be filled with things people care about, like Anti-Vaxx, Homeopathy and fringe identity politics!"

Maybe if I say IWW three times in front a mirror a miracle will happen.

How many times do you need to be told that Labor and LNP are in lockstep - precisely why
I
(emphasis added) originated the term ' "The Tag Team"....

Maybe longie can't follow me - but I expect that some of you with a mind can do so....

Yes - fringe issues are not the issue (sic).  What is at issue is the welfare and well-being of the Australian people - and how this can best be achieved (not attained).

I say - without fear of contradiction and in the full knowledge that my comments will be reviewed by lackeys of the security services and of politicians - that at this time there is not one valid hope on the horizon for the Australian people in their politicians - unless we do it for ourselves and without them.

Sad - but true.

I hope they do split.  Last time the ALP did that (1955) it kept them out of power for two decades.

How did you get that? No I am not, I'm accusing the "new age" part of the left of being completely out of touch with reality especially those that have taken over the Socialist Alliance.
