What a clown. No one this naive should be the treasurer of a country. He had any number of good legal brains amongst his political colleagues who could have advised him as to his prospects for a win in this defamation case.

"Justice Richard White found that a poster headline and tweets reading "Treasurer for sale" were defamatory.

All other claims made by Mr Hockey were dismissed".

And then to compound his idiocy he turns around and insults the rest of us by saying ..

"The Federal Treasurer says he does not regret taking legal action against Fairfax Media, despite losing his bid to have the media organisation cover the costs of his defamation suit".

We believe you, Joe. Of course you have no regrets about losing this case that leaves you not too much short of three-quarters of a million dollars. Wouldn't anybody be happy to walk away from a Defamation case in the position you find yourself now?
