yes I was wondering when dan-the-dope would work that out. the increased GST would give VIc more revenue.

And every single voter in the state would be worse off paying more tax.

The GST is the only part of that commitment that they haven't broken - yet.

Unbelievable how keen the liberal supporter here are to see their party break all of their promises. These are the same people who spent 3 years crying about one supposedly broken promise.

So would seceding from the Commonwealth. None of this 90% of GST revenue or 30% of roads funding per capita or other Federal taxes that bleed Victoria dry to prop up the other states ... Victoria could have it ALL.

Not true. The Victorian government will be working closely with the Federal government on addressing domestic violence. Victoria's got a Royal Commission underway to investigate the issue, and Abbott's put it on the national agenda.
