Overall, a good document.  Some small typographical errors but it read well and the conclusion was well supported by the body of the text.  No major grammatical errors that would impede the logical flow of the document.

it read well but I'm not sure Karnal sounded as if even he believed what he was writing ...

that could be my impression due to influences from outside of the essay though!

Not that it matters, longie ran away anyway, just like I knew he would

He was not meant to.  The whole thrust of this process was to ask people to write an essay supporting a proposition they personally do not believe in.  That is the way longweekend originally threw out his challenge.

Karnal has responded, and well done him.

Well the essay was well written, so well done Karnal. It doesn't come across as insincere which i know is no small feat.

You cleverly used what we have come to consider in Shorten as untrustworthiness as a selling point, which whilst not buying my vote, suggests it may buy others.

It cleverly juxtaposed Abbotts lack of skills in the more reptillian maneuverings of Shorten to present a cogent reason why he will not be an abject failure as PM.

It does, however, stop short of giving me any hope that we won't see another term for Abbott and i was really hoping you could pull that off Karnal.

But it
s probably an impossible task.

As it stands, you presented a non-biased report when your objective was to be biased. Clever. Well done. You gave reasonable arguments as to why he is best suited for the top job (over Abbott at least) without giving the impression that you particularly like him.

A very good piece of writing. And you have retained your soul. Well done.

Good show, Karnal.

No way that longy will even attempt to follow up.

What is his second favourite insult. Coward, that's it.....

Come on, coward, see if you can better Karnal's piece.
