I never pretended to be anything but earthy.

I would miss the beer if heaven existed. Miss the brewing of the beer even more. Miss art, creativity, striving for perfection, sex, miss the female sex.

Earth will do me.

we just think of ourselves as nymphs and shepherd monk.....frolicing through life with not a care in the world.... if only....the girls at the CWA all try to fit in..and enjoy whatever is happening...some days I really do think I am eating yummy cakes and doing the limbo..whats wrong with that??..if we cant have fun in a fantasy where the hell can you?.. I enjoy the lads myself with decorum at all times though. Wink Wink

and I did think you were a match made in heaven... didnt I get that wrong.. Smiley

I think a litte fun friviloity and fantasy is a good thing- I have a very fertile imagination and has come in handy many times- I am with you cods life would be so boring without fantasy . If Monk loves the women then he simply must come along to our square dance- Margie has her eye on him I think and she did tell me he had a rather awkward  gait and she simply must share a few moves with him. Then she went on to say that she she won first place in St Mary Mead Annual Square Dancing  Championships 1932 and 1933 respectively- is there anything she hasnt won?   MMMMM. Our lads are good for what ails the soul- glad to have them. They do have impeccable manners and compliment ladies of our calibre perfectly.

I have the original C.W.A. RULES AND DECORUM in my hand and it reads: " ... men are allowed only at meal times  ... and must assume a level of maturity, civility, and nobility ..."

Did someone ring the dinner-bell because it certainly has gotten crowded in here!

as you say Gladys the original... the CWA has moved on since 1924...we are very modern now.. its all unisex down at the hall...and besides most of the girls love it.. since we had a couple of male strip nights... they all voted on letting the lads in...

of course we cant pick and choose body types  but for the most part the girls are not fussy....they cant afford to be...

try to move forward Glad  one step at a time.. my new book covers all these grey areas in relationships I have a piece on if he dribbles buy him a bib it will make all the difference. I have them in my collection and they are made  to look like he is wearing a tie... rather cute and not many can tell the difference...sometimes we have to lower our expectations... when it comes to lads I find that the best way to approach them...

Yes the lads of today are not quite the same are they- if your waiting for a gentleman from back in the day I suggest you take to watching the Classic Movie Channel- the only place they exist anymore- well I found anyway- I have met one gentlemen that was a contradiction in terms- he liked to kick up his wingtips and adored refined ladies of independent means- but that was where it ended Im afraid- independent meant he could mooch of her and buy any kind of alcohol he so desired- so he spent most of his time talking to stray animals on the riverbank and admiring his reflection in a bottle- always worried about the hair you see- his "wino" hairstyle was his obsession...poor man was taken by consumption in the end.

He was one who  would really have really loved that bib cods- and not be embarassed to wear it- you are so ingenious with your ideas I have to say    Wink

yes agnes like fine wine the girls age beautifully sadly it doesnt do the same with the lads... we are flat out finding a gallant Nobel knight.

thank goodness for old movies...we can drift off in Clark Gables eyes...frankly Scarlett I dont give a dame....it still send shivers  and dear Heathcliff...so brooding sooooooooooo virile..

what do they swoon over today Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus...

the tottoo show was a resounding success and thanks to Reg who took out the grand prize we now have money in the bank....Margi polished up the cup so it looked new... and we can now afford to have Regs name engraved o n it...well done Reg the girls got so excited when he stripped off.to show us every little detail.. he is so vain but when he flexed the pecs and the mermaid wriggled her tail the girls went ga ga...

Glad put a head lock on Reg to stop him leaving at the end.. and of course we now have to pay his chiropractor bills.. she also ripped his shirt which he had specially made out of  see through polyester...so that too needs repairs....

but apart from that it was a very good night.

LOL a head lock you say , well she has always been an exciteable one hasnt she- she has ways and means but getting them to hang around is another thing ..poor Reg I heard he got a wry neck out of that, and hasnt been able to dress himself for a week- Glad has offered to help but he just bolted back into the sand cave with Old Ron and finished off Rons cask of Lovers Lane Port. Should get a cask of that for next square dance night!

Reg deserved to win the tattoo competition he was a fine fine specimen- no wonder Glad's sap was up !!!

Could you imagine what would have happened if Bear was there as well..?

and the police are sick of us to be honest last effort resulted in new uniforms all round...and Milly is convinced Paddy the policeman fancies her after that debacle..she swears he tried to get her in the back cloakroom..when in fact he was trying to get out.as she was keeping him for later....... the commissioner has put in a report to CWA head office over that little foray

by yourself???...

pansi we girls do not wish to kn ow that...we are above such things...if you end up in quarantine when you come back  we cannot afford to pay the bill...we did manage to get back in the black whilst you have been BUSY..but it soon went when Mr rentakill found out and wanted his last but one Bill paid...he was first in line that morning.... so first in first pick really...

ion the mean time I must get on to marge as the cleaning is slipping again Molly swears she saw a cockroach in the larder and I have explained to Marge sweeping them out the back door doesnt work with those nasties....maybe we should have a clean up day at the hall when you return...that dettol spray thingy is great but only for a while...

we could also have a garage sale...our collection of lost property is growing....old hearing aids and hemorrhoid cushions  seem to be the worst..

we did have a condom un used.I am glad to say .. but that seems to have disappeared...

It's ok.....it was just a cock tale. George would know all about them.

Cleaning, not back to that again......we must maintain impeccable standards cods, the CWA was grown on ammonia, washing soda, bi carb and vinegar.  Those cockies sure are big over here, I think they smoke them out of the drains then stamp on them but we can't have our members take such risks, we might have to gEt the Rentokil Man out but pay him first or he'll spray with water like he did one other time......that's what Fred said anyway.

Pansi/ cods- I swear by vinegar for most things cleaning wise but I dare say Margie  being a trophy winner at this could impart a few good tips- the other day , quite by accident I discovered that white vinegar repels flies- it has an amazing range of applications- lemon juice  too.

Pansi, sex on the beach, dear girl that activity would be fraught with problems- sand- sex err rash- never mind but I do not recommend you make a habit of that. Embarrassing trying to explain that one away  at the Drs.. same with carpet burn lol.  There is one particular singer I read about that used to douse his John Thomas in Listerine after concerts when he peformed rather raunchily and was swamped by sapped up groupies- after the show-it was then he needed the stuff to keep from getting some nasty bug.  I mean the things you read and now I know I'm making you all queasy so Ill stop.

I have been a bit busy today helping out at the little Angican Church, sorting charity items, packing up winter clothing and unpacking summer - the ladies there love a new face from time to time, the urn runs pretty much all day.

you are pretty much a gift agnes  you volunteer for everything well done.. in fact I may nominate you for CWA member of the year.... it is a huge reward for pure dedication...the ceremony is on ABC 26..the prize includes a tour of every CWA club in Australia and NZ...
it is  amazing, it does only include half the budget travel costs..but  I believe there is  a fun Camel ride leg in the N.T.  one hump or two... just my little joke dear...but it sounds so exciting I get all twittery ...so I will nominate you as I know you will be an amazing ambassador for the girls...and just spread love and cheer....

I did buy Margie a bottle of vinegar she said she was old fashioned....but I think it went on the chips that Mel insists on buying shes trying to lose weight and has given up the gravy....
