and anyhow, our resident gay_incest_poste (greens_lose) is on record as saying there is nothing wrong with adult incest. Remember the gay brothers who didnt know it?

Apart from it being "icky", what do you think is wrong with it?

(I think it's "ickky" too, by the way).

you need to have the cultural, legal, ethical, moral and genetic reasons to oppose incest told to you?  it is historys #1 taboo.

It's "icky".  We all agree on that.

What else about it bothers you?

If the two brothers you mentioned were doing whatever they want to do in the privacy of their own home, why does it concern you?

You are lathering up the slippery slope with KY jelly, gweggowy.

I'm staying on the level, though.

You're the one continually mounting the slope.

Why do you concern yourself with what two brothers get up to when they're alone?

and what if they are underage?

Then the answer is clearly 'no'.

There you go, that was easy.

We got off that slippery old slope with no problems at all.

Now, back to the question you're avoiding ... ?  Undecided

lets see if you can make a moral, legal or principled statement.

Modern laws on sex are centred on the question of informed consent. The more ancient laws centred on sexual acts: sodomy laws, adultery, etc.

Lets see if you can make a moral, legal or principled statement, Longy. Why is incest illegal?

Useful post, Longy. I don't know what I think about incest, but I do have a question:

Why is it a subject of the law? Why is it illegal?

you need it explained?

there was a questionable argument that legalising gaysex and marriage would lead to incest and polygamy. I thought that was rather silly, but here are all you gay supporters openly questioning why incest is illegal.  Kinda proves their point a bit.

It's a question.

Do you know the answer, or not?

I would certainly be interested to see if YOU know since you seem so happily in support of incest.

Not going to answer, ey?

as I thought.  you are unable to explain why incest is illegal.

why shoudl underage be a problem? culturally post-pubescent sex has only be criminalised in the past couple hundreds of years while incest has been criminalised since the dawn of law and culturally penalised since the dawn of time.

It's not about what they do when they're alone - Marriage is recognition from a third party.

Kiddies are too young to give informed consent.

I'm surprised that you're advocating such a thing.

So, the answer to the question you've been asked is ... ?

Because there are so many similar threads at the moment, that it's hard keeping track of them all.

In that case, the gay brothers can bum each other all they like.  I'd advise them not to let word of it spread though.
