there is however a delicious 'out there' scenario.  Labor dumps Shorten after a short traditional public display of fighting and puts Plibersek in the job.  Libs polling goes to 55/45 immediately.  Abbott sends a bill to the senate to be rejected and then 90days later when the polls are 60/40 his way he has a DD where he gets control of both houses.

Admittedly, a rather unlikely event, but you can see the idiot lefty feminists lusting (?) after another woman leader to take them to destruction like the last one.  And if you thought Gillard was a little lacking in the class department in public, wait until you hear Plibersek in action!

What a pile of delusional crap.

dream on.  the polls are already 49/51 which puts abbott slightly ahead for a win already.  and thats before we have the embarassment of Shorten and Labor campaigning on
a) bring back the carbon tax
b) increase capital gains tax
c) reduce negative gearing
d) start the boats arriving again
e) "let the spending begin!!!!"

you dnot think that is 3-5% worth of swing to the Libs in that alone?  And that is assuming Shorten doesnt divorce anyone, get accused of something corrupt/criminal or make a general fool ofhimself - some of which you KNOW will happen.

I predict Abbott to win 52/48 and lose a handful of seats but probably gain a senate seat or two.

A) we had 4.5 billion worth of new projects in the pipeline because of CT , not to mention it was singular most important piece of legislation in 100 years for humanity, 15 bucks a year in power bills or 2.40 per billing quarter , STILL waiting for my 535 bucks.

B) im not up to speed

C) as an investor with a property portfolio i can write off my obscene salary so tbh i donate a fair whack to charity anyway and will just donate the what ever they hit me up with to the homeless.

D) your an idiot Labor are supporting the loophole on manus , a political move obviously, that annoys me immensely .

E) the economic messiahs have doubled the budget deficit, in one i repeat one i repeat i repeat ONE YEAR

I did say it was a highly unlikely event, but in the case of Plibersek taking over, do you really dispute that she would make labor completely unelectable?

the highlighted bit is what completely discredits you and everything you have to say.  carbon tax the most important legislation EVER?????   wow, are you dumb.

keep dreaming longie ... labors advertising campaign is already set .

All they have to do is replay footage of abbott making a  promises followed by abbott breaking his promises (or trying to) ... no one has to say or do anything else.

or remind the public that if by some miracle abbott did win, he would claim that as a mandate for scraping medicare and selling the ABC

yep... the abbott lies will be a great set of ads.    but the return of the boats and the return  of the carbon tax and mining tax will be even better.  and remember,  Labor has now decided to reduce negative gearing and increase capital gains tax.  I bet that excites you.

Unfortunately it seems that Labor will keep the current policies in place.

No indication that this is true but Funny that you talk about tax when the Liberals have increased tax on anything they could get away with.
