Cods, the killing season demonstrated internal party disunity. But the fact is good government by and large continued - despite the fights happening internally.

This mob on the other hand has just been bad at governing. Policy on the run, no concept of good long term economic management, complete inability to negotiate with the senate. There efforts to distract from their economic incompetence by resorting to the "national security" scare campaign - is so transparent that I don't think even the public is being fooled by it any more (polls stubbornly refusing to turn for the coalition - despite a lackluster opposition leader).

Rumours of an early Federal Election continue to grow on the back of lacklustre performances from Bill Shorten.

He continues to bumble and stumble as Leader of the Opposition.

The Liberals see this as an opportunity to seize the day. They would be foolish to ignore it.

It’s not the Libs, Red, it’s the PMO. Many Libs will lose their seats. This is all about Abbott saving his leadership.

If the Libs wanted a decisive victory, they’d ditch Abbott and start again.

Libs in marginal seats are very worried.

the assassin is still there and so are some who hate his guts for what he did totally untrustworthy.. ask Paul Howes.

Irrelevant.

The PM can change every day, for all I care.

The important thing is that the current "government" is removed from office, as soon as possible.

Whoever ends up the leader is of no great concern.

May I remind you, cods, that the office of PM doesn't ever crack a mention in The Australian Constitution.  Don't sweat the small stuff.

This is the worst example of a government this country has ever seen.

Worse than Rudd and Gillard's shambles? Nah. Maybe the third worst, but the wooden spoon and runner-up go to those two (who gets which is debatable).
Gillards actual government wasnt a shambles, and theres the pity of it.

Their ONLY 'successes' - one of which involves abject stupidity, the other of which involves orchestrated and ongoing criminality.

WANT THE BOATS BACK..

The boats are back  But now we are paying the smugglers.  How about we just treat refugees humanely?  We could fly them over.  No more boats.

WANT CARBON TAX BACK..

Absolutely.  Removing it was one of the stupidest things this government ever did.

We have one at the moment.  What is the difference?

Agreed. I don’t care what the polls are, the electorate will not support Shorten as PM.

Nobody has.

Abbott would be crazy to go early, every time Shorten is given a platform to speak he tears Abbott to shreds.

Abbott needs his Royal witch hunt to do its job first. While Shorten is there Abbott is in big trouble.
