You know that word "attack" is BS because you can always say that someone attacked first. It certainly can never be a basis for saying "Those who are attacked can't commit atrocities and those who do the attacking can. The fact that you resort to this kind of meaningless argument speaks volumes. Here, let me give you an example. Under the international rules of war a blockade is an attack. When Israel blockaded gaza for almost a year (I believe) and the people lived in a virtual prison for that time with severe shortages, that was an act of war. So after that Israel was capable of committing atrocities but the palestinians were not because they were defending themselves. See how hollow that line of reasoning is?
