And often, these type of offences [sexual molestation of children], committed by moslems [often against children within their own community], are often reported in the media locally, but are rarely reported nationally - EXCEPT IF YOU ARE A CATHOLIC PRIEST.

But i do agree, that the sexual molestation of children, by Catholic priests [or members from any other religious community], [when it is discovered] should be widely reported.

But the mainstream media in the West, to me, seems to be very selective about how it reports examples of criminal activity among members of different cultural groups.

To me, much of the mainstream media in the West, seem to be Islamophobic [i.e. i believe that the mainstream media in the West fear the consequences of reporting the wrongdoing and criminality of moslems, specifically].

i.e.
The mainstream media in the West, in their reluctance to criticise moslems, or, the moslem community HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THEY HAVE MADE THEMSELVES, the victims of moslem intimidation and terrorism!

The moslem intimidation and terrorism, which has been directed against anyone who criticises ISLAM, or, the nefarious and very EVIL behaviour of moslems, ......innit.

Not quite. Prejudice is more about categorising outgroup members into broad groups, then judging individual members of those groups as being all alike based on your stereotypical perceptions of the characteristics of those groups - aka outgroup homogeneity.

See Yadda, whats clever about this sneaky little statement of yours is that there is indeed "a certain group of people" who are exactly as you describe - and you do indeed provide the evidence to prove it. Thats not prejudice - but what is prejudiced is to relegate every single last muslim on the planet into what is in reality an extremely small group, and insist that every single last muslim on the planet possesses the exact same characteristics (all negative of course) like automatons. When you lose the capability to judge individuals on their demonstrated actions and behaviours, and instead blindly apply the same broad-brush of stereotypes across all individuals - thats prejudice.
