Hey Marla

You really suck at predicting a book by its cover.

Since 1997 more than I/3 of ALL manmade CO2 has been released into the atmosphere yet temperatures have remained steady.......why.......???????

You're dead wrong about the oligarchy not wanting to trade in carbon credits, its going to be a $2 trillion dollar market per annum, even oil companies are pushing for all governments of this world to tax their people on the air they breath through carbon credits.

The Kotch borthers which btw I didn't know about until you brought it up here might be against carbon trading and taking orders from big oil or anyone else for that matter.

Are you saying heat doesn't get transported by oceans? The thermohaline cycle describes transport in the ocean by density changes and one of those density changes is due to salinity.... one of the ways salinity can change is due to the freezing process in which you are presumably saying wind plays no part!

More junk science. NOAA says different:

Sorry, I don't see any CO2 figures there.

I guess you missed NOAA thought 2014 was hottest year ever; with a 48% confidence level. Which is explained in the supplement page as being "more unlikely than likely".

Quite correct!

However, there has only ever been one time in the history of this planet, where the human Population went from 2 Billion to 7 Billion, in some 86 years.

World population milestones (USCB estimates) Population -
(in billions)      1      2      3      4      5      6      7
Year            1804  1927 1959  1974 1987 1999  2012

And, that factor has most certainly impacted the Global Climate!

Its not the total population of humans on the planet that has the biggest impact but rather HOW certain nations or groups of people live.

take the USA for example which only makes up about 5% of the total global population and yet, consumes about 1/3 of the worlds resources and produces about 30% of the globes total waste and pollution.

So you could have a planet comprised of say 3 Billion US citizens and the impact of the environment and resources is identical to say 45 Billion citizens from Vietnam or 270 Billion Bangladeshis.

The "gross numbers" hide which communities and individuals are causing the most problems for the planet.

Dig deeper and you realise that about 1 billion Humans on the planet are living unsustainably and causing about 90% of the impact on the planet.

And the Australian citizen is the World Gold medalist when it comes to carbon emissions. (partners with Canada and the USA)

People who point to overpopulation issues as the cause of the worlds problems usually live in the West and in the developed world (developed world could also be considered a contradiction in terms)

Well what do you suggest hairy arse, go back to the Neanderthal days.

Anthropogenic global warming is a myth perpetrated by institutions like the club of rome and United nations which are all run by the oligarchy.

The oligarchy for some reason think they need to make decision for the rest of us, is it because they know best, have better education than the average Joe Bloggs.

Don't know but there it is, some pigs (rich boys) want to tell the rest of the world 99.99% how, when, what and why.

They must think we're stupid and we can't make the right decision about anything.

The worst thing is they're turning ordinary people into their foot soldiers by playing on the conscience for the environment.

I mean who doesn't want a clean environment right..?? we would all go in to bat for that wouldn't we...???

So chimp snap out of it mate, sure lets clean up pollution in our rivers, chemicals and rubbish going into our waterways and seas, pollution going into the air, etc etc lets do all that.

But not through a $2trillion dollar carbon credit market the oligarchy want to create on the stock exchange so they can tax us for the air we breath.

And you don't see any absurdity in that statement?

So when you lack scientific facts or, better, when scientific facts are presented in a way you don't agree with blaming the rich or some secret society makes up the ignorance.

....Batman has no problem subsidising the fossil fuel corporate scam with tax payers money, as well as funding the wars fought over oil and resources. (In Australia the fossil fuel sectors, which are 83% foreign owned gouge the public tax purse to the tune of 12 billion dollars per year. The renewable sector would be lucky to receive 100 million dollars each year)

how much does that scam cost the "REST OF US" Bat crap you paranoid flat Earther?

Nobody wants to go back to the Paleolithic, and it's questions like that which illustrate that you're not really interesting in reading about the science. All you want is the status quo, regardless of the cost. When anybody questions your cut and pasted crapaganda, your come backs demonstrate that you don't understand and don't want to understand the issues. In short, you are a hypocrite. You subscribe to conspiracy theories about the  Club of Rome. Anything other than trying to understand the issues.

It's perfectly possible to have a good, technologically advanced lifestyle without using fossil fuels and crapping all over the environment. At home, I'm pretty close to that lifestyle, relying on solar for power and bio-diesel for my 4WD. On the sea, again I have solar panels and deep cycle batteries. Even my tenders use quite powerful trolling motors, with the batteries charged by the solar panels.

I have all the modern conveniences, but have very little environmental impact.

Who really cares? It ain't gonna happen in my lifetime - I'm almost worm-shite already. So all this discussion is pointless.

The world's resources are finite, yet we, as a species who can't sustain ourselves, continue to breed. While allowing half our number to starve.

Earth, as planet, will survive after mankind has strip-mined its resources in order to feed an ever burgeoning population of Homo-Sapiens with an increasing appetite for the attainment  of individual satisfaction.

The fastest way to reverse climate change is to rid the world of the most serious polluters.

Cull the poor, non-productive and starving - easy!

The Greens have the answer. With a 40% reduction in world population, it's achievable - Paradise with electricity.   Grin

Just a thought.

The global population problem is a red Herring.

The USA makes up about 5% of the total global population and yet consumes about 1/3 of the planets resources and produces about 30% of the waste and pollution. This statistic generalises across the western nations meaning that about 15% of the worlds people require almost 90% of the worlds resources to sustain their life styles.

The problem is distribution of resources and the greedy life styles of the few.

So when people advocate a reduction in global population as a means to tackle problems of poverty and starvation, it depends on WHICH people are asked to reduced their environmental footprint.

You can eliminate say, 300 million Indians or Africans (excluding Sth Africans) and the effect on the earth will be negligible - this wouldnt even effect the statistics.

Eliminate 300 million US citizens, and 1/3 of worlds resources are freed up and there is a 30% reduction in pollution and waste overnight.

I dont see these problems as total global population related - not yet anyway - and I am not advocating the elimination of anybody.

These are very much political and social problems, and can be solved with sensible political will and the dismantling of the corpocracies that nurture this fascist tyrannical system of concentrated wealth and the rewarding of greed and socio-pathic behaviour.

We dont want to look in the mirror ladies and gentlemen - just point fingers.

The good old socialism masquerading as environmentalism. Take a bow Chump. You don't actually care about anything other than your socialist agenda, manifesting its ugly truth behind the convenient vehicle of the environment and sustainability..no wonder you explode with rage every time someone points to the big fat Agenda 21 elephant sitting in your closet.

Why do you do it? I mean, don't you have a life? or is effing up everyone elses so you can get rich what it is all about for you? You are worse than the worst of the capitalists you hate - at least they are honest about their activities - you are a fraud.
