It's called Anthropogenic Global Warming

Stop with the doomsday stuff about AGW.

Is Australia heating up......?

No she isn't........................!

Are sea levels rising........?

Yes but not at the uncontrollable levels that the IPCC and other alarmist groups predict.

We are coming out of the mini ice age its only natural that temperatures, CO2 and sea levels do rise.

The melting of the arctic started about 200 hundred years ago and has nothing to do with man's CO2 emissions.

Does CO2 & temperature correlate......?

No they don't and they never have in our history...!!

More than one third of all manmade CO2 emissions have been released into the atmosphere after the year 1998 and yet temperatures are dropping.

No correlation between CO2 & Temperature

Can the IPCC be trusted........??

No they cant.........................!!

They are a political body that presents science to the world, their science.

As the below chart shows they are quite happy to leave out facts to further their cause.

Do CO2 & temperature correlate?

History shows us that CO2 and temperature don't correlate at all.

Its a well known fact that CO2 lags temperature by about 800 years.

That is first temperature rises and then the amount of CO2 in our atmosphere also rises as the eco systems warm up and release more CO2.

This is the scale that most global warming sites use to scare the unsuspecting.

A record of temperature and atmospheric CO2 over the past 400,000 years is preserved in the Vostok Ice Core and is shown in the figure on the right.

It can be seen that there have been a series of large fluctuations in temperature (the Ice Ages), accompanied by large changes in atmospheric CO2.

It is thought that these large temperature fluctuations are triggered by Milankovitch cycles - variations in the earth's orbit that change the amount of energy from the sun that reaches us.

However, on their own, these cycles are not enough to explain the changes in temperature.

The full explanation seems to be that the small change in temperature caused by the changing orbit are amplified by natural processes on earth. These cause CO2 to be released from the oceans and the biosphere, causing an increased greenhouse effect.

Considering we had cooling from 1940 to 1970 it would make sense that the arctic would increase.

Now that we are finishing a warming trend the opposite is true.

Lets see if we revert back to a cooling trend which is suggested by data from the last ten years or so.

Then AGW religion will die on its arse.......!!!!!

I'll zero in on a tiny part of your brain fart and show a version of the Geocarb II graph with error limits. It puts it in perspective. Big error range there. Your graph (courtesy of the fossils of West Virginia website) draws an arbitrary line on the maximum values. (funny about that)

So for 200 million years ago, you can have CO2 levels of anything between 500 and 4500 ppm. Take your pick.

The earlier temperature scale on that graph says that it's average global temperature, but is in fact ocean floor temperatures in the original study.

The ocean floor temperature today is something like 0-3 degrees C. Imagine what the surface temperatures must have been like when the ocean floor temperature was 22 Degrees C.

The paper and graph are valid and if you have problems with it take it up with the authors.

BTW the paper you present has been shot down into a million pieces, some of the assumptions and theories in it are way out there, what would you expect from an alarmist.
