One lucky blue tongue.

I was sawing up an old strainer post today, with the middle all hollowed out.

I spaced my cuts according to firewood size and blow me down if there wasn't a curled up blue tongue in one of those lengths.

It was only when I rolled the logs out of the way that he came out, not a scratch on him.
How lucky can you be.

They're nice little critters, but unfortunately my cats don't let them get past their baby years.  Embarrassed

thats a shame herb... put a larger bell on their collars???..we hardly ever see a blue tongue in ACT...

its a crying shame.. I understand cats instincts...but tiny lizards ,are sitting ducks..

at least my cat gets the rats...ugh...

he has to be... why would he say that???...

I was always scared of lizards.. heap on the coast...but son has a warm tank now and has them ev en sitting in front of the open fire during winter..lol...he has two...plus two dogs and a cat..who all live with the lizards quite happy.
