I don't know how you can say that when it will take a 12% swing for Labour to win.  There will be a big swing towards Labour and that won't be an endorsement for Tony Abbott and his team, more the opposite.

it was always going to swing back rosie, ....

the trick is to do a good job to hold government for the second term...

a third term will be even harder but if the Liberals stay on course, they'll have the budget back in the black by then...
Hey Rosie. Don't worry about these rusted ons. You can tell when the LNP conga line are desperate, they make up the most foolish arguments.  If there is a significant swing against the LNP and esp if Newman loses his seat Abort will have a hard time surviving.

except that three years ago you would have predicted that Newman would struggle to hold his seat and there would be a large anti-LNP wing.  That was a dead-cert even then.
Do you even know what you're trying to say here????

simple.  even three years ago everyone knew the next election would give labor a large dead cat bounce.  there was nowhere else for them to go.  You lot were predicting newman wouldn't win his seat last time so this time was always going to be a challenge.

more like a wake with the one percent party.

But at least CLives dinosaur resort will finally have some guests.

I wonder how clever that comment will look in a couple of hours.  Get ready for humble pie.

a few percent hardly changes everything.  Clive has spent a fortune (of what it probably other peoples money if history is to be repeated), outspending the majors and still gets a few percent.  Kinda indicates what people think of him and his stupid candidates.

you read it right the first time.  in an 89/7 wipeout, everyone was predicting that labor would struggle to get anything better than a dead-cat bounce, you included.

were you predicting a huge labor swing this time around 3 years ago?  of course not. no one was.  Libs were in the ascendancy across the nation and Qld Labor had just been massacred with a mere 7 seats.  At least be honest.
