Oh and ducking questions is a common practice on most political discussion boards, it's how politics gets done.

Mantra, the underlying issue is this : THIS FORUM HAS NO REAL GLOBAL MODS ATM.

And that is why we're seeing nothing but passive aggressive abuse BY those with the title of GM.

In addition, we're seeing these same GMs ban victims of baiting & trolling, whilst those responsible for out of control baiting...are rewarded with immunity.

Hence why so many of us miss Muso & Mozza. These 2 knew how to Global Mod in a mature, sensible and respectable manner. What we have now is a sad & sorry mess.

FD is a fool to let things get to this state.

Maybe not. You can do a test yourself with one of your own posts. If you edit it quickly enough, there is no edit notice. Try it.....you will see.

There is no free speech at PA Mantra..there are victims and bullies and the place is adminned by a bully--

The only reason I was given for being banned from there was I "badmouthed " a very bad forum in other places-- how is that freedom of speech? Lisa has already been warned by nefarti, of a ban coming her way if she continues to talk in Monks sandpit about strawberries?

I think that is so oppressive and is consistent with what I know of the current setup. He is trying to rule with fear. Your the one who has been subjugated !

We need new Global Mods. They need to be fair, be seen to be fair and function at arms length.

Corruption, GM keys being used inappropriately and retrospectively in order to try and cover for someone. .. is not on.

Not at all. My warning was to gently alert people that the Forum Rules apply even in the Member Run Boards like this one. What sort of hypocrite would I be if I allowed/tolerated or condoned breaches here while I made relevant remarks, in....say Feedback

If you change your post within that 4 minute window, regardless of whether someone posts after you, it doesn't leave edit marks. I did it this morning.

It might be a little over 4 minutes allowed for editing, but it's definitely less than 5.

It doesn't matter what board we post on AG, we still have to walk on eggshells.

There is no place to post where everyone's free speech is welcomed. We have to go by the standards of the admin and moderators and when they change, so do the rules.

I doubt changing the rules to make them less "sloppy" - Phem's words, would help. FD would have to become a dictator and demand that all the moderators strictly adhere to his rules and enforce punishment accordingly. Every member would hate it.
