tried a new fish and chip shop tonight...

I was down town today and I saw a couple eating F & C...

instantly it brings back yummy memories of days gone by...

you'd buy 20c of chips.. rip the end open and eat all of the minimum chips.. which you got heaps... throw some to the sea gulls you had so many..

so some square cut chips and a light large piece of flake.. wow.. !! yum yum...

I had fresh dart fish today, neighbour caught the things this morning, cleaned them and cooked them ... great neighbour. He also made a penne pesto because he thought the fish wouldn't be enough and he had to much basil in his garden ... we had to  prepare the veges, cauliflower and beans with vinno cotto, and baked potates with rosemary and olive oil ... i also prepared a tomato salad ,,, nothing better on tomatoes than fresh basil and olive oil ... to much food ..

oh, he also bought over some profiteroles he had made for dessert Cool Cool Cool

We had 'hot dogs' last night. Crusty bread rolls sliced through the middle and stuffed with honey sausages and fried onion, sauerkraut, jalapenos, grated cheese and mustard. They were delicious.

In June of last year I unfortunately crushed a vertebrae and have not worked since.

Would you like the lend of a few bob so that you may be able to eat a wholesome meal? Shocked

Aren't you lovely?

No thanks - we're lazy, not poor. And the food was yummo.

BBQ tonight with several neighbours ... Lamb chops, scotch fillet, gourmet sausages, tomatoe salad, yesterdays leftover potatoes and beans, baked cheesecake, home made doughnuts and whatever was left of yesterdays profiteroles.

Oh, I believe someone bought along some packets of chips. Cheesy Cheesy

My neighbours on one side are middle eastern and the cooking aromas that waft out their back door sometimes are mouth wateringly delicious.  Yummm.

They aren't very friendly though so I doubt they would share.
