I have heard several reasons but I would think it is either because they can carry heavy loads vast distances across the desert or that you can get a sea sick feeling when they 'pace' because both legs on the same side move together which makes them rock back and forth.

In a thread about 'Dinner' ~ types return to type.  I can't be bothered reporting it given the Mod is obviously quite happy to have bestiality snickered at.

Some days I eat very little. No pattern or rules, just a sense of needing to be free of the demands of eating.
I would have a modest breakfast and a late lunch (it's good to be hungry for a while) and then


nothing.

Tea. I like tea.  Or soup.
Breakfast is only around the corner anyway.
