pretty nice actually.

You like a bit of chicken with your mustard.

Mustard is good for you.

Google AI:

Mustard is generally good for you.
As a condiment, it is low in calories, low in fat, and free of sugar and carbohydrates,
making it a healthy alternative to high-fat spreads like mayonnaise.

Health Benefits

•      Low-Calorie Option: Standard yellow mustard contains very few calories and only about 55 mg of sodium per serving, according to discussions on Reddit.

•      Antioxidants: Mustard seeds are rich in beneficial plant compounds like glucosinolates and isothiocyanates, which provide anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.

•      Minerals: The seeds contain trace minerals such as selenium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium.

•      Digestive Support: Mustard compounds stimulate saliva production and aid digestion

I asked Google AI:

should you have a tablespoon of mustard every day?

Consuming a tablespoon of mustard every day is generally safe for most people and offers potential benefits like improved blood sugar control and lower cholesterol, though it is not strictly required.

Potential Health Benefits

• Blood sugar and cholesterol: Studies on wholegrain mustard suggest that a daily portion (around a heaped teaspoon to a tablespoon) can help support healthy blood glucose and cholesterol levels.

• Active compounds: Mustard contains allyl isothiocyanate (AITC) and antioxidants that may assist with anti-inflammatory responses and metabolism.

• Low-calorie condiment: Prepared mustards are very low in calories, making them a healthy swap for heavier, sugar- or fat-dense spreads.

A veggie pastie and 3 slices of Whiting.    Smiley

I decided to buy some beef when I visited Aldi.

It says:
Product Details
Tender beef strips in a rich, peppery sauce.
Perfect for stir fries, noodles or rice, delivering a quick and delicious meal every time.

I tried half of it in a stir fry and it was tough to chew - I was worried I'd crack my fillings.

Anyway I made the other half of it into a curry and it took 90 minutes of simmering
before it became reasonable to chew.

I suppose - what do you expect for $25 per kilo?   Sad

Maybe it was just gravy beef?     Undecided

Beef Peppered Steak 300g

300 g ($24.97 per 1 kg)

Tonight I raided the fridge and made what I could on this hot day:

Whiting, rice, veges: broccoli, asparagus, stuffed olives, capsicum and garlic -
the rice was fried up and topped with Soy sauce.

Would that have been good enough for any of you?

I would have added Dijon mustard.

Going by Pecker's track record of comments & style.
Chances are he jerked off over his and calls it mustard.
