Tonight I made a roast chook with roast potatoes and pumpkin, and boiled cabbage.
Was thinking I hadn’t done leg of lamb toast for decades! Both hubby and son don’t like lamb and daughter is vegetarian. Geez 3 against 1  Roll Eyes
I might just do a roast lamb for me and my daughter in law soon as she loves lamb too!
Yes that’s next week I will put on my shopping list!

To avoid detection by the rest of family you can cook lamb kleftiko style  Wink
Quote:
The word kleftiko means "stolen," originating from the Klephts (Greek bandits or freedom fighters) who hid in the mountains during Ottoman occupation.

To survive and avoid detection, they stole lambs and cooked them in sealed underground pits with hot embers so the smoke and smells wouldn't give them away.

Here is modern version using baking paper.

Buon appetito.

I love lamb although strangely enough I disliked it, and wouldn't eat it, as a child.  Like many foody things I only appreciated and liked them as an adult.

I like the leftover cold lamb made into a rich curry.

I think I'll have Lite n' Easy tonight.  I've been fiddling around with food all day for people and can't be bothered with anymore.

No wonder he hangs out over at Monk's.
They're all potheads and alcos.
