A good example of expensive ultra processed food people should avoid i wouldn't buy or eat that.
$32 a kilo for 56% ultra processed fish doesn't even come close to salmon from the coles/woolies deli at $34 a kilo.
The Salmon will yeild far great protein content + Omega 3 fish oils.
At 250 gr with 56% fish say 125 gr fish it will yield about 20- 30 gr protein with a heap of useless calories with stuff all nutritional value.
Whiting should have 5 star health rating if cooked without oil all the other crap drops health rating to 3.5
A 250 Gr piece of Salmon/Barra/Snapper will cost around the same it doesn't have all that processed crap offers double the protein content far greater nutritional value for the dollar.
The Cardiolgist Dr Malhotra said if something has more than 4 ingredients you don't recognise put it back on the shelf.
Stop being ungrateful food snobs - most of you.
Imagine if you were my kids and after putting that on your plate
you started reading out the ingredients and complaining?
You should read the ingredients with ultra processed food numerous studies show a link to colorectal cancers.
Here is a tip real food doesn't have ingredient list.
What you have there is expensive garbage be much cheaper and healthier to buy a piece of fish and cook it yourself.
For sedentary adults recommended daily intake for protein is around 1 gram per kilogram of bodyweight.
For athletes double that.
100 gram serving yields-
Chicken breast 30-32 grams protein
Beef or Lamb 24-29 grams of protein
Tuna 23-25 grams of protein
Salmon 20-25 grams protein
Cod/White fish 18-22 grams protein
Prawns 22-26 grams protein
That 250 gram box at 56% fish = 140 grams of Whiting.
It's expensive crap
