Quick dinner tonight -
chicken satay sticks, spuds and asparagus - quite tasty.

Yogurt for dessert.

Bobby, it just so happened I made a copy for daughter we are visiting so I asked where it was… in the kitchen drawer!
And here it is… voila!

Hi Sophia,
I made a cut down version of the bean salad last night.
I couldn't get the long green or yellow beans in cans so
I used Carmelina 4 Bean Mix | 400 GRAM from Coles instead:
https://www.coles.com.au/product/carmelina-4-bean-mix-400-gram-8855614
I used far less sugar and salt.
So far so good - it is very nice.

After 9 hours marinating in the fridge:
I just tried the bean salad out with some fried spuds.
It was quite good.
I'll look out for the yellow and green beans in a can and try again
when my latest mix runs out - still plenty more in the container.   Smiley

Just polished off a beautiful curry that I made:
Beef, onions, tomatoes, Keen's curry powder, Basmati rice.
Simmered for 40 minutes till the beef was super tender.

I decided…. After watching MasterChef with some of these ridiculous combinations, like ice cream and hot chillies!
Well today I did it… mixed hot chilies with ice cream.
At first I thought… not bad… my inner mouth was hot and cool at the same time … then it was just stinging hot!
Nah… I like  chillies with food better, not ice cream.
The food wraps around chilli as they go down to stomach together.
With ice cream melting… just hot chilli in my tummy and I feel it burning.

Anyways… if anyone wants to try that combo… let me know how you like it.

Tonight I had chicken drumsticks with mushrooms
with mixed herbs and garlic all in a nice sauce -
with Basmati rice.
It was very tasty.

Very good! Such a great recipe! Silly of KFC to drop it from menu due to unpopularity? Now everyone wants healthy salads and beans etc.
Re: sugar —- xylitol or stevia mixed with half amount raw sugar works too.
And I use Himalayan salt… it’s strong so don’t need much.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

Yes - although I only ever used to get a small tub of KFC bean salad -
it's a bit rich to have too much in one go.
