Wow, that's some unique dusty collection!
There was an auction nearby where we live, a bit similar to the link, but a smaller collection of old cars and relics etc, and the dust was lovely and thick, probably the dust protected the duco somewhat eh?
Anyhow.....nothing like that in our shed!
We have a cut up old 1983 bluebird, (used as a type of ute for the chainsaws and other tools needed to fix fences etc).
Then we have about 4 forklifts, 2 not going, 1 sort of going, and one is going okay. (do these things breed in the shed???)  Grin how did we end up with 4 of them???
I have warned the OH....gumtree...or else! Roll Eyes
But what we do have that's unique, a Holden HJ Kingswood, with trailer and skis on tow, on an island in the middle of our lake....now there's a real talking piece (questions, how did it get there?)...and we have offers for the car...but...I say.....nah, that's not worth draining the lake  Grin Grin

a great car . ....

I tried to buy one I found in an old garage once, the guy bought it new, put it in the garage and it remained there ... I found it 25yrs later with about 200ks on the clock, but he wouldn't part with it no matter what I offered. It still had the new car smell inside

Nothing of great value, but in one old shed there's about 100 years of accumulated things that were kept because they might come in handy . . .and they still do . . .and I'm still adding to them.
But it's such a firetrap it's a miracle it's still there.

The trouble is when cleaning out the shed one needs another shed to put all the crap into.

I am even contemplating just that. Grin

Interesting to read of what happened at the auction.  I put together an article about this find for the car club magazine, but that was last month, before the auction was held.  I'll have to include a brief note in the next issue as a follow up.

When you consider the condition most of the cars, $24,000,000 seems a pretty good result for the 60 or so that they sold at auction (the rest were so far gone the family were going to try and sell them for spares), though most of them were rather rare.

Its an Italian Vetta, quite rare in this country, the vetta frames were hand made in Italy up until the early 90's. I was quite pleased to get it at the time as its a 64 cm frame and Im a fairly large bloke, I didnt realise the rarity when i bought it at the time. Rides like a little beauty.

I have a few sheds,4.5 x 9m workshop for woodwork quite a big shed that has quite a few machines, tablesaw, bandsaw, drum sander, vacuum system, thicknesser ect. Another shed for garden equipment, I ended up joining a 3x4m with a 3x3m to make one big garden shed. Storage shed 6 x 7m and several other 3 x 3m sheds plus I just bought a storage unit 4.2 x 9.5m to store my caravan and other bits and pieces.

I have a couple of tonnes of dry dressed jarrah that I have stored for projects. A few neighbors regard me as their local bunnings when they need something.

That sounds good Leeroy.
I'm currently refurbishing tables for a restaurant.
The wood is Malaysian hardwood, which is soft wood by Australian standards. Very nice wood with variety of grain look. Covered with two coats of poly clear coat. The indented features, I've resined in.

Not much in the shed, it needs a lot of work, (water undermined the paver floor) most of my stuff is in the garage. I have the problem of being too close to the ocean if I am not careful everything rusts or corrodes in no time.

No so great anymore but did paint professionally while I was at school. Putting off concreting a new floor as I am having physio on my neck and back 8 months so far. Did build a new retaining wall before xmas and shouldn't have. Currently taking granddaughter to the ocean baths most days suggested by physio If she doesn't go I head for the surf and even that hurts, getting old is a bugger. Have about 6 projects that I am delaying.

Water lily water garden with maybe white clouds (cold water fish)

Yeah, I want a fish pond. No carp!

With the slope of my land I picture a “stream” and a “waterfall” plus a water lily pond with sun exposure and no splashing water from a fountain or currents. Will pay someone to do the digging and spreading of the sheets to form the waterproof barrier.

The pond could form continually replenished water for the chooks?

Turning over the water will provide fertiliser–rich water to be given to struggling plants or to sweet corn beds that needs lots of nitrogen.
