I'd vote PUP in a nano-second.  Lambie is best out, and she is on the way out.  PUP has a good chance to take the balance of power in Qld where both major parties need a good kick in the gonads.

The confused CC message is not the only reason I didn't consider giving them a random pissed off vote: their non support for fibre internet was the other. Seeing as these are the only two issues I can count as significant then I don't see why they can't get a surge in numbers but I don't see them getting 10 percent or anything.

And yet Palmer is even worse than the main parties. He treats the electorate like complete mugs with backflips left right and centre, and arrogantly marching out of any interview in which the reporter dares ask perfectly legitimate questions about his Chinese business dealings - which as an elected representative the people have a right to know. He stands for absolutely nothing, and makes the major parties look like paragons of principle and integrity.

He is a disgrace to our political institution - and thats really saying something.

Unfortunately, one can't help but wonder about his credentials as a politician - especially when he's so eager to sue newspapers reporting on how he manages his companies:

I was really, *really* hoping they'd defend on the basis that Mr Palmer had no reputation to protect (or worth protecting).
